Hello! N. Phoenix 5pm to 10pm only. I've been working in many aspects of healthcare since 1991. I Started out working with Young Adults with TBI and SCI injuries. I've run Alzheimer's Homes in the valley. From there I went into Hospital work as a CNA on Ortho, Med Surg, Tele, Oncology, Mental/Behavioral Health, Drug Addiction. Looking for more excitement I transferred into The Operating Room and worked as an Operating Room Assistant and later an Anesthesia Tech. Excitement got a little overwhelming so I learned to read Telemetry and was in charge of 60 plus people in the hospital on different floors. After 7 years there I left and started at Craig Hospital one of the Best rehab facilities in the country maybe the world. I was there for 13 years working with Major Brain injuries and Spinal cord injuries. In this time I became VERY proficient at working SCI & TBI. I'm a very good teacher which was part of my job educating family members so they could bring their loved ones home. I also have a VERY good understanding of TBI patients and spent Eight years working One On One with these individuals Relearning EVERY aspect of their lives again. Again, Educating family was a huge part of this job. I have tremendous experience and Impeccable references! In Twenty plus years in healthcare I've NEVER had a complaint against my license or inadvertently hurt ANY of my patients. Safety has always been my number ONE concern. I've received many awards for excellence in my years and go the extra mile to make sure my job was completed and my patients are comfortable and relaxed. After all we're here for them! I have a great personality and I'm VERY trust worthy. Im a man of my word. I work equally well with Men and Woman. My hearts in the right place. I'd love the opportunity to help you and your family member through difficult times. If you have any questions, Please feel free to inquire Thank You for stopping by! Have a Blessed day! I have been a caregiver for 5 years I have certificates in Caregiving , CPR,and First Aid . I also have my Federal fingerprint card . . What I love most about being a caregiver is putting smiles on my clients faces... what makes me a special caregiver is that I pay very close attention to the details on how and what my client needs to ensure they get the best care possible . I have a very possetive attitude that I seems to bring out confidence in my my clients to do things that they thought they could not do because of a physical or mental condition . Giving possetive feedback to any person can help build up someones self esteem and help my clients to believe more in themselves and there challenges they face . I became a caregiver after my Aunt passed away , she was living in a retirement home for the elderly. My aunt was not a tiny woman but not obese she was covered in bedsores when they found that she had passed and her oxygen hose to help her breath was not properly attached to her oxygen machine . It was then that I decided that no one should ever have to live in those conditions and no family should have to go through the horrible experience that my family went through after her passing away . I have taken the place of caregivers that were let go by my clients due to either poor care to them or there loved one or because there prior caregiver was caught stealing. I keep myself and my home very clean so I have no problem with cleaning and scrubbing to help keep my clients home free of harmful bacteria that can cause infections and viruses that can be harmful to there health . I have experience working with clients whom suffer from dementia, bi -polar ,and manic depressive disorders . I also have experience careing for clients with COPD, Diabetes, stroke victims, nerve disorders , MS , incontinence issues ,and paralysis . I love being a caregiver ..
