I have been a CNA for 18+ years, I became a caregiver so I could take care of my grandma. I love what I do. I am honest, trustworthy, funny, kind, loving, and can be firm if need to be. I am a stickler on doing as much for themselves as possible, because if they loose it, they cannot get it back. I treat my clients as I would want to be treated, with respect, dignity, and compassion.
I love helping others and work very well off of a task list. I'm sociable and genuinely care about the welfare of others. I am attracted to caregiving because it allows me to work intimately with people who may need higher levels of assistance. I'm currently taking classes in an LPN program in Chicago. I hope to one day be an RN. I love learning and can be introverted but this helps me pay attention to details that others may miss. I am passionate about helping others, particularly the marginalized in society. I love feeling like I made a difference in the lives of those I serve. I look forward to working with you soon! :)

I would say I am great care giver because I always put the well being of my client first, I am very old fashion, respectful, funny and alway exceptionally professional. I am always open to learn and a very fast learner at that. For me being a care giver helps to give back to the elderly and help to make their lives easier.
I love being a caregiver I have always thought being a caregiver is a gift I am a people person and, I love taking care of others. I have 10 + experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's and find it is my specialty! I have been a CNA for over 10 years and, I have a lot of experience with with all the different parts of caregiving. I believe being a caregiver is about understanding that everyone is unique and, different and, should be respected and loved for who they are. Being a caregiver/ CNA is very important to me and I feel patience is the key to being a good caregiver. I look forward to talking with you more. Thanks!
Hello! My name is Lauren. I am currently a Nursing student attending Gateway Technical College. I have finished my CNA a course a while back and will be renewing my first-aid certification this December. I love to help/care for others in general and have been told I have very nurturing characteristics. I strongly believe in caring for each individual as if they were my own loved one and making sure they receive the proper care needed. I have plenty of experience within the health care field in different settings - as well as caring for my own family members/close friends that have needed care in the past and present time. I am always open to any questions you may have and would love the privileged to get to know/care for your loved one or yourself!
At Nurturing Hands, it is a priority to connect with both clients and their families to create customized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of each client. At Nurturing we are dedicated to providing the upmost quality care to our clients, and inspiring our clients to continue to live. We strive to encourage each and every one of our clients to do something they are passionate about. To set goals. To fulfill their dreams, and to never stop enjoying each and every moment of their life. Because well... That is what they would expect from us ... right? At Nurturing Hands, this is not just our passion, but it is our mission. To give back to our elders. To give them the care, compassion, inspiration and nurture that they need and very well deserve.
I am an LPN with over 10 years of experience. While I have worked primarily with pediatric patients, I do have experience as a CNA with elderly patients. I am looking to provide one on one care while working around my home schedule, as I am also a mother to a wonderful 2 year old boy :)
Hello, I am Becca. I am married and 4 beautiful kids. I am a hard worker and very compassionate about my job. I am a great caregiver because I love taking care of people. It probably all started when I was about 13 years old and I took care of my great great aunt. I used to help my grandma ( which was a nurse) take care of my aunt. My grandma thought that I needed to take care of people when I was older since she told me that I was so good at it. So that's exactly what I have been doing. The most thing I like about being a caregiver is that the people I take of. I love hearing their stories and hearing about their life; it's so fascinating. My personal achievement is that I get along with the tougher clients ; when everyone else seems to think they are mean or hard to do; it seems like I can do it I love the challenge you could say.
