Hello! I hope you're doing well? Here's a bit about me: I have a total of 3 1/2 years of professional experience working with seniors. I worked in an adult family home for 2 years. I cared for seniors between the ages of 68 and 84 in large groups of 3-6 seniors. I also have experience with cancer recovery, when I worked as a private homecare assistant for a year. I have great references, live in West Seattle and currently doing the last year of my early childhood development degree part time and online. I take pride in what I do and would love to work with a family. I'm a very nurturing and bubbly person, very responsible and I enjoy reading, writing, dancing, singing, watching movies and driving. I have and continue to be passionate about caring for people and feel very blessed to have this as my career. I believe that one should always treat others the way they want to treated, with respect, patience, dignity, and kindness. I enjoy caring for people and loving what you do is most important to me. My daughter Saturday has shown me everyday what a gift it is to have such love and compassion for others and also having taken care of my elderly parents has been a gift so it is my family that attracts me to the career in Caregiving. A personal achievement I am most proud of is my volunteer work at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital where I was assigned to the Oncology Unit and working just to make the children on that unit love, play, or do artwork taught me how precious life is and how even the smallest kindness matters more than we know. I have been a caregiver for well over 20 Plus years. I have love and compassion for the elderly. As a child I was always close to my grandmother, when I became an adult and she got up in age. I moved back from out of town, to take care of her until she died at age 102 on Christmas Day . After the passing of my grandmother I started working as a home health care provider and showing that same love and compassion I had for my grandmother to other elderly clients. I believe in catering to the elderlies every need in their golden years they deserve to be treated with the utmost kindness and respect.

I became a caregiver because I thought taking care of the elderly was just a good deed to the community. Something I like about being a caregiver is that I get to spend time with my clients and do the best to my ability to crack beautiful smile on their face which makes my day so much better. A personal achievement that I am proud is that I received a certification of recognition for my company that I have been with since 2008. I really enjoy being a caregiver because I have so much respect for my clients and their families and love to meet new people.

Hello and thank you for your consideration. I have been a caregiver since I took care of my grandmother 15 years ago. I have a happy optimistic personality, am pleasant and well spoken. I have a natural easygoing rapport with most elders. I know it isn't easy getting older. Not every day is a good day and I know when to step back and allow for a little more peace and quiet. The last long term person I was honored to care for was 94 years old. I was with him for 7 years. I managed all of his personal care, medications, doctor's appointments, transportation needs. I managed all household needs such as grocery shopping and household maintenance. The last 6 months he was bedridden. I took care of all his advanced care needs. In the last year leading up to his passing, I managed a 24 hour care team. When I care for a loved one, whether a younger or a bit older senior, I want them to trust in my care and to have a peace of mind. As a caregiver, I provide that. Hello. I became a caregiver to my father in 2010 after my mother passed. I enjoyed it immensely and loved every moment I got to spend giving back to dad for all he has done for me over the years. He passed in 2018. From there I was hired with a wonderful company that does transportation and VIP services for seniors and cancer patients. I meet so many great people and enjoy making a difference in their lives.
