I am very patient when it comes to caregiving, I think it is essential for a caregiver to be patient. Older people may take longer to perform daily tasks, and depending on any cognitive diagnosis, may require a different level or type of communication. Patience is key to providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere. I'm also very dependable, the wellbeing of an elderly individual depends on my availability and dedication which I hold myself to outstanding and high standards..I am very confident and attentive when caring for someone as if they are my own family member, I am compassionate which to me is extremely important when caring for someone in need Compassion is critical to caring for anyone.

I would like to clear the air in saying I do not have a lot of experience in being a home care provider unless you count babysitting and helping someone around the house and with the baby after said baby was born. I would like to say I have patience. I understand some of you will be hesitant in even considering me for the job but I can learn and promise you will not regret hiring me. I would like to have experience in being a caregiver. I feel working in this field will allow me to gain a new perspective not only career-wise but in general. I consider graduating in college as my biggest achievement and do hope to pursue further in the major I chose and other ones also.
