What makes me a great caregiver I believe Is that I like to put others before me I like to help anything or any way possible and assisting a patient in their daily needs is the best thing that I can say about myself I love taking care of people and the honesty of being there for someone especially at their ends of life for comfort . I've decided to pursue what I have always wanted to in the medical field and helping others!

Hey there, ever since I watched the movie, The Upside I have been somewhat interested in a job such as this. Im young, 21 years old, and very patient. I have worked previously and currently as a technical support advisor for Apple and ultimately i'm just looking for a job to help pay my bills until I can get into the CHP Academy.

Working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion caregivers will let the person they are caring for know that they care about the person and want to do what they can to help them. It is also essential to be patient, reliable, and trustworthy in me being a good caregiver. I personal became a CNA because I love being able to help and see the difference I'm making in people.

I became a caregiver because I love to help people I'm currently going to school to be a registered nurse and I'm a very hard worker and dedicated to my jobs and achieving my goals of helping people.

I have been a caregiver my whole life when it comes to assisting someone older or helping around the house . I am a proud mother of 2 boys and my life is based on handling household chores and being able to multitask when necessary

What makes me a great caregiver is I respond to different situations quickly and in timely manner. I think just meeting peoples' needs. Sometimes it's not a glamorous job but you leave and the people feel like they have been treated with dignity. Their needs are met, they're comfortable or as comfortable as you can help them become. What I enjoy as a caregiver is all my clients health improves over time.

I love to care for others what got me started was caring for my mother until the end

I began caregiving for family like a lot of people. I cared for my mother-in-law, after her stroke, with her recovery; I was trained on how to operate an in-home peritoneal dialysis machine on her bahalf as well. I've worked with local in-homecare agencies for 10+ years and as a medication technician for a local assisted living facility. I am also a nursing major at Bakersfield College. I enjoy helping others and feel that it is my purpose, and what we have been put here to do.

1. I love working with the Elderly, Mental Retarded, and the Disabled. I took care of my mother before she died. 2. Being a caregiver for 6 years has help me in so many ways. I took care of my mom before she died. I work for Mental Retarded adults, and I worked at a Convalescent Hospital. I love what I do in helping each client I've every work with. Taking care of people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that cares. 3. My personal achievement I'm proud of is when I did somebody else job when I worked at this Convalescent Hospital. Some on pass away on the job site and it was another workings client and she was scared to clean a died body. So I did it. I was proud of it. 4. I'm a Christian I believe in Jesus Christ. I go to Church all the time. I work at the Church on weekends. I'm a very hard worker. I'm all ways on time to work. I call in if I'm running late.

What I like about being a caregiver Is that you(I) gain the knowledge of getting to know the person your working for and I love to work as a Caregiver again because this is a job I am most comfortable at and this is where i see myseld working. 3. A personal achievement that I am proud of is graduating high school and now working on my associates degree at Bakersfield College. 4. Something about myself, I love to give back to the community, I love working with elderly people I have a two year old son named, Makhari, I am a single mother and I am a wonderful person to get along with, I am more than dependableI, I strive to meet goals, and I have high expectations of myself in the future.

It comes natural to me I am 31 years old have cared for my grandfather for 10 years he had a stroke and was completely immobile. I had to perform everyday tasks getting him up in the morning feedings,bathing,bathroom visits,grooming,catheter cleanings,medications insulin shots,housekeeping,laundry and just anything that he needed.helping people makes me feel like i am making a difference in there life and helping them live healthy and happy.

As a christian man , i believe helping is a gift as took care of my mother for 10 years , gave me compassion for others, Helping others Giving my life to Christ I have worked 10 years in the in home health care field , my mother was on dialysis she had courage she my example of strength.

I am a college student, I am going to school to be an RN. The experience I have for this job is solely based on my Medical Assisting experience, and the experience I have from helping my friend who has paralysis from the neck down. When I would help her, I would do transfers, transportation to doctor appointments, help grocery shop, cook, etc. I have a hunger for learning and I am very good with people. I am punctual, reliable, responsible, and I am also a good companion.

My name is Tracy Briggs and I am currently going to school to be a registered nurse. Naturally, I am a person who loves to help others and most importantly I understand the frustration of caring for a loved one. My Mother, Sister, and I took care o my grandfather for a year and a half through four major surgeries at the ages of 88-90 years old. The most overwhelming situation was finding someone who you could trust to just do basic things to free up time. Being responsible for someone and their care is exhausting, hard, time-consuming, and overwhelming. At the time I took care of my Grandfather, I was unaware of programs like this. Now that he is in a home, I feel I can give back to a family what I lacked, support. The great thing about this process is it allows me to exercise my personal experiences with my aspiring career. I love people, and I love helping. Though it may only be a couple hours a day. I understand how valuable that time is even though it may be just a couple of hours. Everyday is not the same and some are frustrating, but the joy of seeing progress while allowing someone to be in their home is priceless for the dignity of the client and the sanity of the family. I am most proud of myself for going back to school to pursue something I love, and I am also proud that we were able to nurse my Grandfather back to health where he now has gained his independence back. Many people in this situation just want to be themselves as much as possible, and I believe understanding that is the biggest key to helping them.

I love what I do taking care of people that needs assistance. I don't see it as a job because I'm happy getting up and helping others. What made me want to be a caregiver was when I first started taking care of my uncle I really enjoyed seeing them happy because I helped them.

Becoming good friends with the person i am helping. 3.I am vary proud of achieving the best personal relationships with patients I have helped ! 4. I am vary friendly and easy to get along with, I will go out of my way to help someone in need.

My name is Daja, I'm currently a college student . I'm in my sophomore year. I'm 20 years old. My major is currently psychotherapy. I'm Looking to make a extra few bucks doing what I love. I grew up with a lot of siblings so I'm very good at taking care of them. I'm the oldest of 8 children. If interested let me know. I'm available anytime with all age groups. I also have my first aide and CPR licenses and I also have my home care aide licenses. I do have my own car. I have been a registered nurse for 26yrs. Most of my experience in maternal-child care. I am currently not working under my nursing license. I am currently waiting for the results of my hearing with the Board of Ca. I have 2 DUI's one in 2007 and one in 2009. I have since made major changes in my lifestyle. I have hospice experience with my Father. And am very much looking forward to returning to work.

I have been a caregiver for the past 10 years I enjoy helping people especially the elderly. I absolutely love what I do. I became a full time caregiver 3 years ago when I tragically lost my son. God gives us all a special gift I think mine is caregiving.
