I became a caregiver at a young age my grandparents were living alone so at 16 I started cooking cleaning and helping them with care. It just came natural. As more family members and friends needed me it became a career. I've done in-home care many years also took CNA courses. I love people. My heart is big and it shows in my work . Hello! My name is Elaine and I'm a great caregiver because, after looking after my father who had Alzheimer's for four years, I have the kind of experience and genuine compassion for seniors that I would want if I were looking for a caregiver. I have completed my CNA training, and am CPR certified. I've also completed several certificate courses in Safety, Memory Care, etc.. Safety is my number one priority. I'm all about fall prevention and have developed techniques to keep my clients as mobile and self-sufficient as possible while keeping them safe at the same time. The way i came in to my career is through my mother. During child birth my mother suffered a stroke. Which left her paralyzed from the neck down . For 5 years i took care of my mother until she was able to walk again . I then lended my service's to neighbors.
