Hi, My name is Monica,42. I am a Mom of two loving kids , a Vegan (6 years & counting), fruit loving, earth friendly gal. I am a Holistic Esthetician by trade. I love to perform skin care services, but I also educate on safe products, rather than synthetic, carcinogenic products, it is a passion of mine. What we put on our skin is equally as important as what we put in our mouths daily. I can assist with caregiving, juicing, Skin care, holistic remedies, and self care. Love to all.

I first learned that I enjoyed patient-care back when I was a medical assistant in a private practice. I enjoyed learning and caring for others. I became a personal caregiver in 2005, and since then I have been able to assist many individuals and their families. I have found that my love for patient care today is done at a more personal level because every individual that I have assisted has their own personal needs; some need help with recovery, while others just need comforting and care through their aging process. By assisting patients in their home, to keep their routines, help them with medications, or just the in the simple act of being a good listener, I have found makes the world of difference to them--I am happy to have made a difference in someone's life. I am very proud of being a professional caregiver. Care-giving is an occupation which I have chosen and in many ways it has chosen me. My life has been influence by the many fine people of which I have had the privilege of knowing and providing care. Many of these individuals gave me the greatest gift that one can receive- their knowledge and experiences. I have a little more understanding of life and history as seen through their eyes. It has been a privileged to care and provide comfort.

I love caring for the elderly, being able to assist or care for someone helping to make a difference in someone's life is a very rewarding job. I have always been passionate about helping others and this has proven to be the most rewarding of all. I have many years experience caring for the elderly and mentally and physically disabled I'm good at what i do and i love making people smile.I've been told I'm a people pleaser on a positive note. There are many women in my family who have worked as caregivers for seniors and adults or children with disabilities. My eldest sister being one of them, has worked in this field for 20+ years and she is what first attracted me to caregiving. Her dedication to the job insprired me most. I started working with her at 18 years old when one of her patients needed more assistance. She would recommend me to her employers (family members of the patients), I would be interviewed for the job and usually get hired right away. The most common compliments I have received during my work experience have been that I am very sweet, gentle and patient. The part about caregiving that I mostly enjoy is building a relationship with the person I am caring for. I have built some unforgettable relationships that I will forever cherish. A personal achievement I am proud of is my ambition in regards to my education. I have an associates degree in Psychology and Science. I will be applying for the nursing program at Miracosta College in Oceanside, CA.

I became a caregiver because I have always had a deep respect for the elderly and others that are in need. I love to make a difference in the lives of others no matter how big or small that difference is. I think it is a challenging yet rewarding field. Hello! I am a young thriving student with many beneficial years of experience in the field of caregiving. I have grown into loving to care for others, and always put them first. I'm very family oriented, and always make time to help out my grandparents, even when I was younger. I have been a certified nurse assistant for a little over a year now. I love being able to help people in any way I can. I decided to become a care giver when I had an interaction with a nurse in a hospital several years ago that really had a positive influence.

As a child I've always been interested in the medical field. After High School I worked as a CNA and Phlebotomist. During those days, blood draws became my favorite procedures to do. I was really great at it and seeing how the patients were glad and pleased when performing a successful venipuncture gave me a sense of pride to keep doing better.

I have been caregiving since I was nine years old. I was raised by my grandmother so it is easier for me to relate to seniors. She had cancer and I cared for her until she passed at the age of ten. I can be thrown into any situation and come out smiling. It is rewarding to know that I can walk into a home and care for someone, to make them laugh and smile even if it is for a short time. I am easy going. I do as I am told. I will let my client try it their way and if it does not work then I will ask to see if we can try it my way.
