I am very kind and compassionate person. Actually got into this business because of a simple conversation with a potential employer regarding my own family experience's with providing care to ALS patient (mother-in-law) as well as my own father with dimentia/Alzheimer's disease. I have been a caregiver all my life, starting when I ws 14 years old and rode my bike to a nursing facility to volunteer. I spent the rest of my career working with seniors and developmentally disabled adults. I got a CNA certicicate back in 1987, but have no clue if it hold any value these days. I am retired. I volunteer with hospice and my Therapy Dog at several homes, and love doing this. I'd like to gt out a bit more, and a little bit more money coudn't hurt. I am 53, single, Christian, honest, and have lost many family members. I was involved in their care, so I know what that is like. I have also been critically ill, and have myself been in hospice. I know how confusing the medical world can be. I learned so much from my work managing an 89 bed facility for 18 years and working with the doctors there…then becoming a patient myself.
