I became a C.N.A because I love helping other people. I enjoying helping other that aren't able to care for themselves. I am a retired school Teacher. I decided to become a care giver after I took care for my mother before she passed! I used to stay there for more than 12 hours per day. Other patients thought I worked there because I would come at lunch time and sing dance and helped them and brought smiles to their lonely faces! At the moment I am training my morkie so I can volunteer at hospitals visiting sick children and anyone who may enjoy the company of a pet while they have to stay at the hospital. I remembered how happy my mother used to feel when they came by for a short visit. I know how hard is to find a caring responsible person to take care of your love one.i will be honored to provide the love and caring I did for my mother until she passed 1/31/15 ???? ! I need to feel the void I feel in my heart! Providing the best care will not only make me a great care giver, but it will help me know that I'm making a difference in someone's life! I miss my mother! This will be a win win situation ! My only advice have a free day with the care giver and your love one. Hello, my name is Frank Tran, I graduated from California State University Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. I have worked at various physical therapy facilities, ranging from outpatient to inpatient hospitals and have the necessary abilities to handle all types of situations. I know how to operate manual or electric wheelchairs, canes, crutches, walkers and have the ability to perform many types of transfers. However, I am very passionate upon helping family members because I believe that movement and caring is life. I chose to pursue care giving because I enjoy working with people and I believe that it has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. In addition, I feel that when I get old one day, I would want also want someone to take good care of me. I am a nursing student. I am looking for a part-time job that only requires for companion or minimal assist. I am well experienced with patient-care and I have been in the medical field since 2017. I became a caregiver because opportunities for nurses from the Philippines closed in this country. What I like most about caregiving is that it's close to the way nurses look after their patients but it gets more deeper than that. Because you spend more time with the patient and you focus your attention solely to 1 patient only. I am proud that I was able to finish my nursing program and I am now starting my pre- med courses. I have always enjoyed being a blessing for people in need of care. As a teenager after school I volunteered at many convalescent homes. In 1986 I took care of my grandmother who at the time had breast Cancer along with a stroke.I have worked in this field for many years. I have had 7 kids Alone and I will work more hard than the next person and love my job . I went to school and had 2 jobs and was there when they left in morning and there when they got home. They said I couldn't do it but I did 1yr from PhD in school was with kids and taking care of them all they life but left working as live in nurse until they were 18 all 7of them . This is my passion what I live for doing always. Worked for live in nurse for 54 yrs or so with same family until granddaughter got sick got her through 12surguries and doing much better now ready to go work for more people. The ones I work with they become family to me.
