I became a care giver because I enjoy helping others to maintain a quality of life. There's nothing like the feeling you get at the end of the day after knowing that you did something to help contribute to making someone's day. I have been a certified nursing assistant for 12 1/2 years and I have enjoyed everyone of those years but I wanted to get a degree in health care administration so I went back to school, I will be graduating with an Associate's degree in June 2015. I feel that this degree will not only add to the experience that I already have in the health field but also allow me to help people in more ways than just direct care.

I enjoy helping the elderly. Being a caregiver helps me to help other people and helps me get out of the house. I completed my Associate Degree. I have been a care giver now for 3+ years. I enjoy making my own schedule and have a regular schedule every week.

I'm a very energetic fun outgoing person, very compassionate and love what I do. I love to cheer up and be up beat. Growing up my mother was a caregiver and I remember always thinking "how come she loves her job so much" I was always around d my mother's work and seen how much she loved what she done, once I graduated I went to school to be a nursing assistant myself brcause I also grew to love what I was around and I love and have amazing bonds with my patients and residents. What I enjoy most is just the joy they bring toy life, knowing I am helping a other person and making them happy is what I live for. A person achievement I'm proud of would definitely have to be getting employee of the month at Best care after only being there for 5 months.

I became caregiver to help other people get through their day to day activities of life. I love being a caregiver because I enjoy spending time with a client and smile that have on their faces while you are there interacting with them. It is very rewarding. I have completed my AA degree in Healthcare and I am working on my BS in Healthcare. I am very outgoing and friendly person. I love and enjoy what I do as caregiver.

I have been work in the health field for about 26 years i have lots of different experience in many different kind of illness im very loving and compassion person. i you will consider me to take care of one of your love ones.

When I'm caring for my seniors, I take care of them as if they are my grandparent. I never met my grandmother because she died before I was born so that love in my heart that I would have had for her is distributed to each of my seniors. I began visiting nursing homes and just walk into the first room I saw a senior in and I would just sit there and listen to the wisdom that they have and learn from them. For the demented and Alzheimer patients, I would get them in their comfort zone talking about their childhood or past experiences because they felt in control of their mind at that time because they knew and remembered exactly what they were talking about and that would bring them so much confidence and it would bring me so much joy to see their faces light up knowing that they were in control of their memory right at that particular moment. It's priceless. This is exactly the way I am today with my seniors. I love each one of them and it brings me so much joy to see them full of confidence. The beauty of my time with my senior is that, if the family will allow me to love who they love, the connection between me and the senior is priceless and the family will gain trust and peace with having me be a part of their senior's life...

I am a very outgoing, talkative person. I love hearing stories that older generations tell, they are the best stories!! I lost all of my grandparents, and I am new to Texas from Pittsburgh, PA so I could use company myself. I think about my own grandparents getting older and helping them with things that they could no longer do and how good it felt to be able to help them. I don't ever want someone to feel embarrassed or upset about something they can't control, and I seem to be able to handle those situations quite well. I am not a very big person, so sometimes transferring someone may be a little tough if the person is large, but I have helped rather big people get from a bed to a wheelchair, if they can help a little. I will try my hardest to do it, but I can do everything else and the companionship just comes with it. It puts a smile on my face if I can make someones day, but they make my day just as much. I am very proud that I was able to help take care of my Gram in her final days and just be able to talk to her. I think this would be a great job for me, as I genuinely care about people and I am compassionate. I would love to meet anyone and talk with them more. Thank you for reading about me. Wendy

The reason why I become a caregiver is because I love people and me being there for them is very important to me. Most of all seeing a smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. What I like about being is meeting new people and providing care-giving services that they can no longer do for themselves and also enjoy the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. One more thing to know about me certified Nursing Assistant but I love working as a caregiver.

I love being a caregiver. Just having the satisfaction of knowing I can make someones life easier just by my being there to assist them with whatever they may need. My grandfather is the reason I wanted to become a caregiver in the first place. During my childhood My grandfather battle three different types of cancer and me just being there with him during his recovery to do little things like watch golf or do a jigsaw puzzle together or just doing little things like helping him clean of his apartment or making sure he has all the tools he needs to clean his medical equipment really just gave me a passion for wanting to help people that are sick and elderly.

1.I became a Caregiver because our elderly is needing us more and I love elderly people. 2. I get to know someone who I never met, and they get to know me. I get to give me attention, and love and a listening ear to someone for a second. 3. I finally got my degree done in ASHAS 4. First and far most I love Jesus , I love to take of the elderly, sewing, baking, and singing

I became a caregiver to give back what have been given to me when I could not care for myself as a young child. I feel that those who are not capable to care for themselves need help and deserve help. I love the fact that I can meet new people and put a smile on their faces, brighten their day. I am proud of raising 3 children [2 boys, 1 girl] on my own while going to school and working. I'm proud of the fact that I'm now going back to school for my AA Degree in Business and passing my classes. My name is Hope Juanes. I have been in the caregiving business for about 10+ years now. I have been married for 2 years now, going to an online school and working as a careprovider. I love to watch movies whether on tv or at the movies. I like to ride bikes, walk, play games, bowl, travel, sing, play drums, and window shop. I am a christian, but don't push my beliefs on anyone unless they ask. I listen to gospel music and read the Bible. I am funny, friendly, punctual, hard working, kind, and there for a shoulder to cry on.

I currently work home health ,have been for the past 3 years . The job kinda fell into my lap and now that I've been doing it,I enjoy it and would hopefully like to get more involved and possibility go up in my career at some point .I enjoy making sure the elderly is taken care of and they are happy .I am a easy going person and love to make people laugh ,
