I worked as a certified nurse assistant for 35 years and I loved it. I love helping sick people old and young, I have a heart for helping everyone if I can. What makes me a good caregiver is the fact that I love doing my job as a caregiver, you have to have it in your heart to be a good caregiver. Hello! My name is Yvanna and I am a 26 year old mother and wife. I have worked as a caregiver for about 4 years total however I only just got back into the field 2 years ago. Beyond that I worked in health insurance and with children who had Autism. I enjoy this field because it gives me a chance to feel like I am doing gods work. I have had the pleasure of working for amazing people And hope to continue that journey.

I always find it a pleasure helping others, being the eldest child of a family of 8 children I've always had a responsibility of caring for my siblings, which I learned as a young girl, then took it up as a job and have enjoyed it. Putting a smile on somebody's face is a good feeling. When my father was diagnosed with cancer I was ready to take care of him, which I did and that was a great accomplishment to see him feel better. Over the years I have worked with different families, one family I worked for had only offered me a job for 3 months because the doctors had told them their mother only had 3 months to live. I took the job and believed I will try and help the family take care of their mother in the finally days of her life, but little did I know that we were going to be together for 4 years. This job is about giving all your faith and hope for the best. I love what I do because I enjoy it.

I Became an cargiver when my father became ill, I gave him the best cae that a daughter Can give up until he pass away. Since then I have worked with many families caring for their love one's giving them the best care possible to make sure they are happy i believe I go beyond my duties to make sure my work is accurate. I work very well with people who i care for an i want to continue to do so for the rest of my life

I am an all around fun, energetic, and caring sitter/nanny/caregiver. I have amazing references because I always leave my clients happy. A lot of my jobs come from vacationers, stuff long parents, and people I randomly meet then offer my services too. I'm not in it for the money and really find a connection with all of the kids I care for. I like to do activities from the beach to stay at home arts and crafts. I like to teach as we play. My goal is to have a prepreschool of my own and service those in my community who need that helping hand and reliable assistance.

I am a compassionate, caring single mother of 2 (20 & 14). 18 years ago I worked as a CNA at Cripple Creek Rehab and Wellness Center, where we had a elderly care, rehabilitation for drug and alcohol addicts and also some psychiatric care with both mental and physical disabilities. I also worked Maxim staffing agency working as a temporary CNA for numerous nursing homes in Colorado Springs, to include hospice care. I then married and decided to stay home to raise my children and let me license expire. I have since been a single mother for the past 10 years and decided to return to school for computer skills to support my family. Recently my youngest son and I have been volunteering with some homeless outreach organizations (Blackbird outreach & Spreading Smiles and Sandwiches Facebook Group) and it has reminded me how much I enjoy helping others and providing support to those in need. Now that my family is older and smaller I have decided I am able to return to this type of role as my career and am reentering this industry. The proudest moment in my life is two fold, raising my children as a single parent with good morals and values and also earning my Bachelor & Master degrees while providing for my family.

I am a kind person whose number one goal is to help others. I am reliable, efficient, trustworthy and educated. What attracted me to being a caregiver is giving an individual help and companionship that they may not be able to get on a daily basis. I am a very compassionate caring person. I became a caregiver 21 years ago to help provide for my kids starting out as a HHA and now I hold my license as a CNA for over 2 years. I have worked with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities for over 20 years in various capacities. I am CPR/First Aid certified and in the past have been certified to work with individuals with behavioral needs. I have a passion for ensuring that individuals live their life to their full potential. Currently I assist with caring for my love one`s mother who is homebound with complex medical needs. Working as a caregiver in the past has been very rewarding as well as full filling. I have volunteered with the Memories in the Making program through the Alzheimer`s Association in Prairie Village Kansas. In the past I have volunteer to assist individuals who were displaced during Hurricane Sandy in New York City whereas I was able to make connection with elderly individuals who became homeless and needed assistance with daily care as well as with their medical needs. There are many achievements I am proud of throughout the years and are too many to list but I am willing to talk about them with prospective families.

I've been doing this since 2000, off and on. I started off as a CNA. While I no longer have my license, I know how to do a lot of things, such as the proper way to help someone into bed, transferring. I am a single mom of 2 kids. They are teenagers now. I have pets. My parents live across the street from me.
