Worked in nursing homes a long time know medications and care and been doing it over 20 years I am good at what I do my patients miss me when I worked and didn't work . They were always happy to see me.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people. People never think that you can change a person day by just having a warm smile,friendly ear. I like being a caregiver because I like helping. My personal achievement is my grandmother helping her to bounce back from a stroke and able to get back to her daily routine with just a little help. I am out going, friendly, dependable.

Hello everyone, I have personal experience with caring for a family member back in 2007-2010. I experience with bathing, clothing toileting, cleaning, reminding clients to take their medicine. Running errands for clients. I enjoy this field of work because it is very rewarding to know that I was able to help some one. I enjoy building a friendship with each client. I became a caregiver to learn how to medically take care of my elderly Family members. It helped me to better understand the medical terms that doctors use.

I take my jobs very serious. I have lots of love for my patients and will treat them as one of my own family members with the upmost respect.I am an all around people person, love to smile alot. I am just a genuine person and once you are around me form the first day you will get to know just the type of work and person I am. The love for people and wanting to always help others os what attracted me to become a caregiver. I am also very knowledgeable in my many years of woking in different areas of the medical field. My personal achievement s that I am most proud of is just seeing the smiles on others face when I am able to just be there for whomever it may be.

What makes me a great caregiver is working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion I will let the person that I am caring for I will let the person know that they are care about and what I can do to help them. Why I became a caregiver Growing up in a family of medical professionals I surely thought that one day I would become a nurse. After watching my mom take care and aid the sick in her home, I knew I wanted to become more hands-on with patients. While still in high school, I became a volunteer patient assistance for a local Nurse home, helping out with medical records and little jobs as needed around the Nurse. Being surrounded on a daily basis by this kind of environment is what made me want to become a caregiver. After high school I became a childcare provider in a facility, and I ran my own daycare from my home. Although I loved what I did, it didn't bring me as much joy as caring for the elderly. What do I like about being a caregiver. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders.I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. I started out being a caregiver taking care of my grandmother she had Stage 4 ovarian cancer I was her caregiver until she was deceased ,my job as a caregiver for other clients has been an rewarding experience I enjoy taking care of them and I've always had a heart where there my number one priority ,I couldn't see me doing a job without taking care of the elderly because I gave gotten so attached to my clients ,whatever job I'm doing I do my best come to work on time and have a smile always I make my clients and patients day and I'm a loving Christian woman who is active in church and a mother of three grown adult children and five grandchildren and soon to be married to the love of my life this is my story about me .

My love for helping other people is what makes me a great caregiver. I started taking interest in doing this kind of work because my father was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer 3 years ago and I had to help take care of him because I refused to let anyone else do for when I could be doing it. I later started helping out with my 92 year old aunt and uncle who suffered from onset Alzheimer's and it made me fall in love with the idea of helping others even more. My greatest accomplishment is when I got to see all my hard work from helping other people be able to live longer healthier lives all because I took the time to show them that I really care and love what I do. It means the most when you make your patients feel as if their part of your family and that you genuinely care for them

My caring heart is what got me into the health care field.I started as a Reflexologist and then my gramdmother became ill and I wanted to be apart of her care so I started taking care of her and I take care of every other person I come in contact with as of they were my grandmother or grandfather.Straight fromy heart with a genuine concern and care.

My personality speaks for itself, i am liked at first sight, i am a great caregiver because i love to see others happy & comfort them in the best way i can.
