I am a great caregiver because I love what I do and is God sent. I started taking care my grandmother l which now gone on to glory but I don't regret one moment of caring for her. My desire to move up in the medical career. When I graduate my goal is to open an Adult Daycare for Seniors. My job of taking care them makes my day because it could be one day so I give the care that I would want to receive.

Growing up I always enjoyed taking care of others, I find enjoyment knowing I can comfort people in their time of need. I am proud of myself for being able to bring smiles and security into the field I'm working.

What makes me a great caregiver is I have always had an open heart to ones in need. I had many family members that had to be taken care of since I was young. I had always wanted to be a nurse and still hope to become one one day. I have taken care of the mentally handicap and have been off n on taking care of my grandmother who has been fighting Alzheimer's and dementia for over 7 years now. She has been the main reason why I have learned and wanted to become a nurse and made me the person I am now.

I am a great care giver because I love helping others in need. I enjoy what I do for an individual to ensure or balance a healthy life. I am very detailed oriented, people person and a patient individual. I think I am in the correct professional field. I would want someone who is caring to take care of my daily needs.

My personal achievement that iam proud of is getting my medical assistant certification that I will have in January 16 2022 and the things I enjoy the most about is giving the care that they need and seeing them smile.

This is my personality traits for being a caregiver, which would be knowing thier likes and dislikes, knowing what they can and can't have. Just knowing,"What is best for the client." This is what attracted me to being a caregiver. I have saw my grandma struggle with cancer and known it was my calling. This is what I enjoy about being a caregiver is knowing thier stories. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being a mom and knowing what I know in the medical field.

My personality traits that helps me be great at being a caregiver is my communication skills I'm honest and caring. When I was a teenager I helped my grandmother allot as she was getting older and had health issues that prevented her from doing certain things. So I did her laundry I helped her prepare and cook meals and cleaning up around the house, I grew to demonstrate great companionship. I knew my grandmother appreciated the help and she also needed the help. She is the reason I decided to be a caregiver. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the satisfaction of being the person to make someone's day easier. I am most proud of my growth skills and knowledge that I have to be successful at my job.

I have a caring instinct for people and animals all my life. I enjoy caring for people especially for the elderly. It is a joy to see a patient returning to good health after being ill. I enjoy the look on their faces when I have provided them with a bath, combing their hair, assisting them with their meals. I am proud to know that I have worked in Health Care and it has allowed me to send my daughter to University and how she has graduated with Honors. I have been working in Jamaica where I'm from as a Patient Care Assistant in my local hospital for over eighteen (18) years and I enjoyed every moment of it.
