Years later I decided I wanted to move on to working with individuals in home and with day to day activities. I've worked with many different people across the board in health related issues and disabilities. And I've worked with children and adults. It's something that's always been a passion of mine and I absolutely love what I do.

1) I became a caregiver because of my grand mother's stroke. prior to the stroke she was very independent. and when it happened. she became helpless and had no one available to really take care of her in Haiti. therefore I consider all elderly to be like a grandmother that has been in a similar situation. I love being a caregiver. I have been learning how to take care of people at a young age. My first job was back in hawaii when my mom left me with her patient to go back home for a family emergency. I have to rushed to hawaii and become a full time caregiver to my cousin with disabilities. I bath,groom,clean, feed her. I took her to her appointments and checkup and everything that a caregiver do. I learn alot from that experience and I enjoyed it. I love my job and god at what I do . I've been doing caregiving since I was 16 and every since I came in touch with it I fall in love hopefully one day I can one my own nursing home and continue to provide care and love to who ever needs it .

I have been caring for the elderly for over 15 yrs. My passion for this position came when my elderly father became sick from obtaining a heart attack. I made it my duty to take care of him and no one else responsibility. Even though it was hard i refuse to let anyone take care of my father. I moved on after he passed away and DECIDED that helping people is what i was sent to this earth to do and I would not have it any other way.
