Being brought up in home of a parent who is a nurse, and having being exposed to care giving from home, I decided to pick up this career after my husband fell ill, and I realized that a lot of people out there need my help. Therefore I have decided to dedicate my life to caregiving as long as the Lord allows me.

I was born and raised in Sierra Leone west African. I am compassionate, honest and love what I do. I like helping people, and have a big heart. What attract me to be a caregiver was that, my father was so sick , proper care was not given to him I watched him died because there was nothing I could do then. Since then I took it upon myself to help the senior citizens. But I enjoy it must when am appreciated for what am doing, because no amount of money is enough for what we do as caregivers, is not all about the money.

I am peoples person and I love to help people that are in need. My goal at the end of the is to be able to put a smile on somebody's face. Help make my clients feel comfortable.

What makes me a great caregiver are numerous among others thing I have a passion in taking care of the elderly for the love I have for my grandparents. I have worked in various facilities for over twelve years as geriatric nursing assistant. I have great experience. Love my job as a caregiver. You got to be passionate and caring , respectful knowing that one day we all are praying to get old . Somebody will do to us as we do unto others.

I became a caregive three an half years ago, get cerified in one of the most wonderful school in maryland, i become a caregiver because i have passon to help and care for people expecially the elderly because i think of getting there some day, they are the most beautiful you can be with, love to spend time with them, apart from the fact that caregiven put food on my take i fill complete and happy been able to help someone, putting a smile on some bodies face it goes a long way.

I have 9+ years of senior care giving through volunteer work in nursing homes, working as a personal caregiver for a year, and working as an activities assistant and a Direct Support Professional. I have experience with the intellectually disabled, dementia, and elder care. I'm passionate about working with and in geriatrics. I currently go to school online due to the pandemic but my full focus will be on your loved one.

I am Maureen Johnson and I have twin sons that are in college. I worked in the Government for over 30 years. I am available 7:am - 9pm Mon-Fri to assist an English speaking adult or child that needs care.. I crochet and knit; have my own car and I enjoy talking and helping people. I assisted in caring for my grandmother for approx 15 years. Last I have a clean and clear non criminal record; and do not take no illegal drug substances. I look forward in working close with the family in making sure that your mother is care for properly. I have a hard copy of the police clearance report from the state of Maryland. What makes me a great care giver because i care a lot about the person that i am taking care of, this person is not a client to me but a part of my family. I have done quiet a few jobs in my life but they never fit but being a care giver is priceless when i get that smile or hug and i made that person happy. The reason why wanted to be a care giver is because the conversations that we have and these people a part of history. The last person that i cared for was not communicating with her daughter and i brought them back together before she passed
