To be a caregiver has been my objective since I was 7 years old . Getting to know my patients and the feeling you get when helping someone obtain their health goal. Going back to school to obtain my diploma as well as registering to go back to get my bachelors in Nursing. I have loved nursing since I was 7 years old. I have stayed in the medical field since being old enough to work not to mention outside of work.

i became a caregiver to help and show compassion towards other. I have a heart of gold and love to be around others. I like being a caregiver because of the interaction you receive and the blessing you get for being so caring. I am so proud of my choice to continue my education and go for what I really want, to become an RN. I am very respectable, loving, caring and willing to do most things asked of me. Hello my name is Jordan Hankerson, I was born and raised in Washington D.C to a family of many. Being the only girl I quickly took the role of caring and providing companionship to others around me. I soon realized helping others is what my life mission is, I stated my educational journey to help those who desperately need it. Knowing that I can make put a smile on someone face just doing the simple things make me joyful being a caregiver. I understand what it feels like, not to be able to be self sufficient, this due to mobility issues. I provide foot care by washing, cutting toe nails (if medically applicable), foot messages, diabetic foot inspection. I am most proud of knowing the services provided, help bring relaxation and comfort to someone unable to exercise the task themselves.
