I am very patient, caring and understanding. I love working with people of all ages, and am very motivated. I provide care to the best of my ability. I completed my CNA class at WCC in April of 2018. I loved working with different people with different backgrounds while completing my clinical for the class. My biggest personal achievement was working with a non-verbal resident that knew sign language and could communicate with me using ASL.

i have 3 years experience in home health care including dementia and alzheimer's care as well as hospice certified. I really enjoy helping others maintain a quality of life during the hardest times. dementia is a horrible disease and i understand that a routine and consistent face is a necessity. some of the duties i can do are but not limited to bathing, cooking, cleaning, medication reminder, insulin, dressing, wound care, cath care, and have a conversation with them. I am NOT the type to be on my phone while i am working, i believe the individual needs my full attention and care. i can provide references from families of former clients as well as the current company i work with. My compassionate nature and attention to detail makes me an excellent caregiver. I understand the importance of creating a clean and comfortable environment for those I care for. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my desire to make a positive impact on people's lives and provide support during their time of need. Most importantly, you’ll have the benefit of knowing you’re making a real difference to someone’s life. I’m currently an Receptionist, where I handle our top performing client. Before that, I worked at as a Caregiver where I achieved two certificates. And while I really enjoyed the work that I did, I’d love the chance to dig in much deeper with one specific healthcare company, which is why I’m so excited about this opportunity as a caregiver.

My experience includes working in a traumatic brain injury facility, filling in at several short staffed nursing facilities and working private duty home care for over 7 years. I believe that it is important for my clients to have a healthy schedule that works for them. I am a licensed CNA and I am certified in first aid and CPR.
