I am a great caregiver because I am willing to be available whenever needed. I am also very reliable, compassionate and understanding. I enjoy being able to help someone who needs my help. I am 32 years old with 3 children and a big heart.

I am an energetic, kind, caring, nurturing individual with 6 years experience in a nursing home environment and 30+years in private home care. I have worked with dementia and Alzheimer's patients as well as Parkinson's and some that just needed assistance with medication reminders, housework, and companionship. I would like to share my expertise caring for individuals on most spectrums.

I love being an independent companion caregiver because it gives me the time to spend with those who may need some additional company or assistance and I can direct my care to that one individual who needs me in that moment. I'm very proud that I obtained my CNA license as a student at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School just about 6 years ago. This is certainly something that has changed my life. After I decided to give up working in nursing homes/rehab facilities for personal reasons, I ended up taking care of my grandfather (24/7 care) at home when he came home from the hospital on hospice care after a major heart attack. It was definitely one of the most rewarding things I've ever done in my life and I wouldn't change it for the world. I hope to be able to help out you/your family member soon too!

I started working as a caregiver through my church, it was very rewarding. I have experienced the gratification of doing work that is meaningful and very important. Caregivers become part of the clients family, and they want to feel comfortable that their loved ones are being treated with care, empathy, and respect. I have always treated my clients the way I want my loved ones to be treated. It is the best thing ever to know that you are doing work that is honorable and appreciated.

I've been a CNA for seven years. Ive been a care provider since the young age of six caring for my pets, babysitting and helping my grandmother. I was also a volunteer at the Senior citizens home in my hometown. Speaking honestly, I consider my personal transformation my greatest achievement. I was a neurotic person, and also an egoistic woman. But I was lucky enough to have around me good and empathetic people who helped me to overcome my inner demons, and to become a new person. But I would not say that I am proud. I am mostly grateful for the opportunities, for the people around me, and for everything else that helped me on my journey of personal transformation. I do not want to give too much credit to myself for this accomplishment.

I never thought about being a caregiver until I had to take care of my grandma when she was diagnosed with cancer.
