I love helping people, I'm compassionate, have a great sense of humor, I am even going back so school to further my career in the nursing field. I become a caregiver because I value people, others needs a helping hand. What I like about being a caregiver is when after assisting individuals the SMILE on their faces. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that i am able to make someone smile, feel better. I am a hard worker, take my job serious. My expertise is assisting patients with problem solving and coming up with solutions.

I have a lot of medical background and I love what I do. I'm a great talker and listening. If I'm able to I try to promote independence by either having the person assist me of even just letting the person be able to tell me what order they may like things done. Everyone is different and we are our own individuals.

I have been a caregiver for the last thirteen to the same family. I lost my mom twenty years ago,she was fifty seven years old. So for me I'm trying to give to others what I couldn't give to her. Caregiver is my passion where as I'm on my way to become a registered nurse. I promise if I get another job as a caregiver I will continue to do the best job as I did throughout the thirteen years that I have been doing this.
