Hello! My name is Valeria. I'm 21 years old and I live in Rochester. I have been caring for children ans Senior people since I was 13 years ols. I like to take care of people since I have had to take care of my mother since I was very young. My mother is a person who has many diseases such as: High blood pressure, anemia, heart problems, she gets dialysis and many other things. I love taking care of my mother and I know that same as I like to take care of my mother, I would like to take care of others. I like to see people well and smile at life.

My loving personality and genuine satisfaction from helping others is what makes me a great caregiver. The option to give back and help others is what attracted me to the caregiver lifestyle. What I enjoy most are the lessons and stories that come with the job.

When I was in grade school I always wanted to be a Nurse because I loved helping people. My friends would come to me for help in a situation and I'd be delighted to help. I am also very intrigued by the human body.

I have been a patient care assistant for 5+ years I have worked with clients dealing with Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer and congestive heart failure. I have taken blood pressure assist with medication I also use the Hoyer lift a few times in the past. My biggest achievement for being a patient care assistant is knowing that I am making a difference by helping someone who cannot help themselves I've seen plenty of clients without family help or no family at all and it warms my heart when I've done a great deed and they tell me that they're forever grateful

I'm a compassionate cargiver. I enjoy giving someone in need the type of care they deserve. I have to children with special needs and I understand how important it is to feel that your love ones recieve the proper care and treatment to meet their needs

My name is Kadisha. I am a veteran from the Air Force Reserve. Before that, I was an Administrative Assistant for 7 years at various facilities, privately owned by a family. During that time, I put in volunteer hours with the activities' staff to ensure the residents had plenty of activities to fill their days. I currently work at a hotel in Boone as a Front Desk Reservationist. I work primarily mornings but cover evening and overnight shifts occasionally. I've always had compassion for caring for others as if they were my own family. I like the fact that I can provide companionship and care to someone I can also listen to and learn new things from. As far as my experience goes, I would say I've also had 7 years experience in caregiving, due to the fact that I've worked in a setting in which the elderly reside and were at times, asked to assist in a capacity outside of my job description, i.e. accompanying someone to the restroom or assisting with a wheelchair transfer. I never minded either of these things because they were always needing to be done in order to help someone. A personal achievement that I am very proud of, is serving my country. That was something I always thought of doing and I finally did it. Once I joined, I knew that I could do anything. I could put my mind, skills and what I've learned from the military into any and every aspect of my life!

I have many years experience caring for children of all ages starting as young as 6 months old in a day care setting. Plus working in school system, my own child, working with the elderly and developmental disabilities. I am certified CNA and certified in first aide and CPR. I am an animal lover and will care for anyone in your family your precious child, amazing parent, or your fur babies. I have 3 dogs and a cat of my own and understand the need for help when life gets busy or vacations.
