I have experience assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, and daily living activities. I also communicate well, stay calm under pressure, and make sure clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable at all times. I was attracted to caregiving because I genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. I understand how important it is for individuals to have someone they can trust and rely on, and I wanted a career where I could provide support, comfort, and companionship to those in need. What I enjoy most is building relationships with clients and knowing that my care helps improve their quality of life. I enjoy seeing clients smile, feel comfortable, and maintain their independence as much as possible. It is rewarding to know that my work truly matters to someone every day. One achievement I am proud of is maintaining long-term employment in caregiving while consistently providing dependable and compassionate care. I am a very passionate person that takes care giving very seriously. When I care for my patients I look at them as if they were my mom, dad, grandmother, or grandfather and sometimes sister or brother depending on the case. I also just retired from the military and the job I had serving gave an even better perspective on how much people care about their love ones , it also gave me the maximum training of discipline and sense to protect. I am a single parent with a daughter who is 17 and she is on the spectrum. I have a passion for helping and caring for other people. I enjoy making memories with my family. I started taking care of others at a young age it started out with my sister she was bedridden. I took care of her for several years. After she passed away at the age of 27 I already had enough experience under my belt that I thought I can use the experience in nursing homes home healthcare assisted livings etc. I have a passion to help others and getting to know the person on a personal level to understand your level of care and needs.
