I have been a certified nursing assistant since January 1999. I have worked in long term care facilities until 2021. I decided to branch out and work for myself. What makes me a great caregiver, Empathy and compassion, patience ,reliable and trustworthy. What attracted me to Homecare it an enjoyable and rewarding career. My personal achievement is making patients smile along the way.

I am a very friendly hard working woman. I take pride in my work and in helping others. I enjoy being there for others and I love seeing them smile. I believe it is my destiny to be a caregiver.

I'm a very helpful person and caring also. I love helping people of any age or any disabilities. The most part is I enjoy is helping.

My name is Kadisha. I am a veteran from the Air Force Reserve. Before that, I was an Administrative Assistant for 7 years at various facilities, privately owned by a family. During that time, I put in volunteer hours with the activities' staff to ensure the residents had plenty of activities to fill their days. I currently work at a hotel in Boone as a Front Desk Reservationist. I work primarily mornings but cover evening and overnight shifts occasionally. I've always had compassion for caring for others as if they were my own family. I like the fact that I can provide companionship and care to someone I can also listen to and learn new things from. As far as my experience goes, I would say I've also had 7 years experience in caregiving, due to the fact that I've worked in a setting in which the elderly reside and were at times, asked to assist in a capacity outside of my job description, i.e. accompanying someone to the restroom or assisting with a wheelchair transfer. I never minded either of these things because they were always needing to be done in order to help someone. A personal achievement that I am very proud of, is serving my country. That was something I always thought of doing and I finally did it. Once I joined, I knew that I could do anything. I could put my mind, skills and what I've learned from the military into any and every aspect of my life!

I have many years experience caring for children of all ages starting as young as 6 months old in a day care setting. Plus working in school system, my own child, working with the elderly and developmental disabilities. I am certified CNA and certified in first aide and CPR. I am an animal lover and will care for anyone in your family your precious child, amazing parent, or your fur babies. I have 3 dogs and a cat of my own and understand the need for help when life gets busy or vacations.

I love being a caregiver!

I've been a caregiver all my life since I'm 7. I grew up and become a surgical nurse. I did that for 30 years. Now my new mission in life is to help care fir those who can't and have no one to help them. It's just my calling. Im very experienced and currently work at Advent health. Im a licensed patient care tech. Im pursuing my BSN ONLINE AS WE SPEAK. EVERYONE NEEDS SOMEONE. I WANT TO BE THE ONE WHO CAN HELP
