I love taking care of people, I always have. Even as a young child I loved to sit next to older ones and hear their stories. My parents always inculcated in me a deep respect for others and the value of hard work and honesty. I have always valued these qualities and have seen the positive effect of cultivating them. For these reasons I find caregiving truly rewarding as I am able to help others and show them the respect every individual deserves.

My personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are being patient, compassionate, showing empathy and trying my best to understand the person in need of care . I always do my best to make sure they are seen and heard. Caring for my grandma attracted me to become a caregiver. I cared for her for only a few months before she transitioned over, and through that experience, I learned that I'm passionate about helping people and improving the daily lives of those in need of care. Supporting my grandma taught me skills like patience, compassion and problem-solving, quick thinking skills. The things i enjoy most about being a caregiver is being the go to, always being a backbone or shoulder to lean on. I love to make people see their work and push them to be their best selves. A personal achievement i am proud of is graduating high school and working in the medical field doing what i love the most(helping others) whether it's behind the scene doing billing or hands on helping.

I am looking for something fulfilling. What better job than to help those needing an extra hand! I ventured into being a Nurse aide and I really enjoyed it. But life took me to a different career.
