Hello, I have been a caregiver for 13 years. I enjoy meeting new clients and hearing about their life stories. I love taking care of people and being a pillar in someone's time of need.

I became a caregiver because of my grandmother. Dementia or similar conditions were not understood during her time but the family and I knew something was different about her. We took turns taking care of her until she passed. I enjoy be able to help give someone their fullest at a time where it doesn't seem possible. I am very proud of the work I do. I've tried many paths but I always come right back to taking care of others. This is the most fulfilling. I am a very good listener. Experience on the Job has taught me this. Sometimes you just have to listen.

Hi, My name is Whitney and I am 21 years old. I am a college student studying to get my Associates in Radiology. I am a very kind-hearted person, I have a passion for helping and caring for others that are not able to do so. I have a passion for this field because I know how nerve wrecking it is to wonder if your elderly loved ones are in the hands of someone who wants to treat them with the care they deserve. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me great satisfaction knowing that I am helping someone in their time of need simply because I would want someone to do the same for my elderly loved ones and myself when that time comes.

I am caring and kind and a great listener. I like to help others and be there for people who are having a rough time. I think being a caregiver is a very rewarding job, I like getting to know clients and just knowing that I giving them my best and helping them feel better. A personal achievement I am proud of would be going to college .

I am very outgoing, reliable and rely on integrity in my job duties, I have always loved caring for people and making people happy. It is my passion to do so. I received my CNA certification in February 2017 when I was in high school. I have received a lot of experience from working in home health care. I love to have permeant clients so that I can learn their everyday routine and make them feel comfortable. I enjoy taking care of people due to me having to take care of my grandma due to her stroke. I am a nursing student in college and I hope to receive my degree so that I can become a travel nurse.

I treat all my clients like I would my own mother and/or father. I have empathy and the ability to put myself in the shoes of the people that I care for. I have been a caregiver most of my life so after the loss of my parents, my husband's parents, and my husband, I missed taking care of others. I enjoy taking care of others and helping them. I love helping people! It's my passion. I have 24 years experience in the healthcare industry as a medical assistant. I took a break from my career to take care of my Grandfather who suffered from Dementia and my father who suffered from Parkinson's and Dementia. I realized that I found my calling where I can utilize my skills and help other families when their family members become sick. Most families have to rely on Nursing Home placement which is so scary for both the family and patient. By having a caregiver come into the home, the patient will not experience anxiety and most likely will live much longer than a patient in a nursing facility.

I became a caregiver because I love the elderly people. I have learned alot from older people and I'm able to teach. Being a caregiver brings joy to my heart and closer to my grandma. Personal achievement I made is to be employed by the hospital. I have a beautiful smile and heart.

I basically became a Caregiver because of my grandmother. After my grandmother became disabled and unable to care for herself my aunts decided to place her in a nursing home. My grandmother did not receive the best of care, and although I was unable to physically intervene I sent up my prayers for my grandmother and I was encouraged to become a Caregiver from this experience. I like being a Caregiver because of the different people that I get to meet and help, and the new opportunities that I get to experience. I think that the achievement that I'm most proud of is finishing college, I am the only sibling (8) that has accomplished this goal, and it wasn't easy to do so raising a family. I am the second oldest child out of eight brothers and sisters. I'm married (33 yrs) with three living adult sons (2 children deceased), and 10 grandchildren (5 girls, 5 boys). I was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and I've been living in Columbia, SC since 1993.

Hello my name is Richshique, and I am a committed caregiver. I have been working in the nursing field for 5 years now, but I have been a caregiver basically my entire life.
