I became a caregiver in 2013 and absolutely love every minute of it. A little about myself, I am a wife and mother of two girls. I currently work full time and I am in school full time for Nursing. I am currently taking classes to better learn and assist in the health care profession. I have done home health care for the last 8 years. I think I'd make a great caregiver I love building relationships with other I communicate very well with others. I have an easy going personality I get along very well with anyone. I'd like to become a caregiver more because it's personal to me that elders are taken care of if I could go back I would of spent all day and night with my grandpa but I was to young to understand what I needed to do for him. I like knowing that I could put a smile on anyone's face if I was a caregiver I could lighten up the mood in any given situation.

I am a sensitive caregiver who loves working with different kinds of people. I have seen the highs and lows of our human condition and hope to be able to use my nursing skills along with my previous life experiences to give back and help make nursing care a better experience for both patients and nurses. I have been lucky in life to travel the world, meet many famous people, and see things many people only dream of. It has given me a much broader view of the needs we have in health care in the US tIoday. I have been a Vice President of and Ad agency in charge of million dollar budgets, numerous people, quality content, travel, and time management. I have worked on huge projects such as helping to organize and start the Oregon Lottery. I was on the first committee to come up with the idea for the addition of the OHSU Center for Womens Health. I have written published articles advocating for better health care for women. One of these is filed in the Library of Congress. I have seen the highs and lows of our human condition and hope to be able to use my nursing skills along with my previous life experiences to give back and help make nursing care a better experience for both patients and nurses.

My Experience as Caregiver During summer of 2012 I had the opportunity of providing home care for my dear friend Trossine, (a 63 year old woman with chronic Osteoarthritis in the neck and lower back, and suffering the side effects of heavy doses of morphine). During the three months I assisted her, we were able to setup a holistic goal-health plan that allowed her to regain back her strengths, the ability to regain her mental abilities after the medication was suspended, and empower her to regain control of her health. While volunteering as a massage therapist at the Gloria E. McClellan Senior Center in San Diego, I was able to provide seniors between 80 to 96 years old with their first massage. The experience resulted in the facilitation of a flow of subtle energy that releases any blockage in their body leaving them feeling balanced, recharged, and reenergized. As a result of such a wonderful experience, I decided to share my holistic holistic approach with those in need of achieving wellbeing and quality of life. As a health practitioner with a natural instinct, and gifted hands for massaging the body, I will assist and enhance your ability to maximize independence and improve your wellbeing through the integration of complementary and traditional medical approaches, and bring to you my dedication, reliability, honesty and trust.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping and care for people. A caregiver is a person who is like family that take cares of others who are not to able to do things on there own. Im Ashley ware I became a caregiver a few years ago when my grandfather who has just passed this year 2016 became sick and I felt only or family could take care of him it made me realize this was something I'm interested in I'm a very great listener and care provider I treat each individual as if they were a part of my family and make them very secure when I walk into there home I'm very caring and I've worked with so many different individuals from mentally disabled, highly aggressive and children.

Hello, my name is Krista and i have been in the field of nursing for 16 years. I started as a CNA when i was 20, went to school and became a Certified Medical Assistant at 25, and passed the California State Board of Nursing NCLEX exam in December, 2013. I have worked across the board in all specialities including long term geriatrics, Alzheimer's care, specialized pediatrics, wound care, ventilator and tracheostomy, orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, emergency medicine, etc. Nursing is in my blood, it's not just a job for me. I have extensive experience and impeccable references. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after receiving my LVN license I was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 36. I went through treatment and am proud to say I am currently cancer free. Due to this set back and the extensive healing time involved, I need to have a low stress job that allows for some flexibility.
