i became a care giver do to the fact my dad was dying and the lady that came to my house to give care never did any thing for him, i had to !!! so it hurt my heart to witch my dad lay in that chair dying and knowing that lady went to more then my house "so called helping people " but not doing a good job ! at this time i had just drop from nursing school so i could take care of my dad 24/7 so when he passed away i know in my heart that i had to try to make a difference... some people made the health field look so bad there had to be someone that loved it just as much as i did !!! so i want to school and took the course!! i love people it make my day when someone tell me just because u come in today my day will be better .. all the other ones have attitudes and they are rude! This people become a big part of you life almost like they are your family ..

Well first I have been in the nursing business for over 10+yrs. I always as a kids love to be with older people I worked with them since I was a kids. Going to all the elders of my church homes to see if they needed help. I believe God has bless me with this gift of caring for challenge children, sick, lost of limbs all of that. Every patient I have has all fell in love with me and I did as well. I have been proud of myself from when I finished school I knew my call from God was to help the sock and spread his word to the lost souls. I am looking for a job interview and praying that God will bless me with a loving family I can share my love with. I am a hard worker a great cook I love singing to my patient walking reading anything that will make their life feel worth living. I hope to hear from you all soon. Be blessed in Jesus Name

I am passionate about the care that I have for and give to others. Having someone to care for you when you cannot care for yourself is a blessing. That's what I strive to be.

I am a great caregiver because i delight in caring for people who for some reason cant be able to care for themselves.I am a very humane, caring and honest person.I was driven to be a care giver because my mom was sick with cancer and she got the best care from her caregivers,this brought out the desire in me to replicate the same care to people that would be needing care.i went further to train as a nurse so that i can have a more indept knowledge about caring.I Love to care for people because i know i put a smile on their faces and that delights my heart.I am very proud of my achievement of my associates in Nursing.I am a 36 year african american christain lady.I would love to be given this opporturnity to serve and care for people.

1. I decided to become a caregiver after my father fell ill with caner. In that time we had nurses coming to the house because we had no knowledge of how to care for him. I watched them and I watched my father and they were like his little angels of mercy, they had a great bond and I it was pleasant for the both of them. 2. What I enjoy most with being a care giver is that I know I 'am helping someone, in some either as companionship ,or to help them feel better feel more independent . you know most clients don't like to Have to have help or assistance , so I like to make it an enjoyable experience , so they see me not as some one there because they no longer can do it themselves , but I am their if they need me you know like I am just like "family" their 3. A personal achievement I am proud of . I would have to say razing my children and completing school at such a young age,. I am now continuing my education as a registered nurse. While looking for employment. 4. Something about my self I love the out doors , I love swimming ,fishing enjoying time with my kids. I also enjoy crocheting blankets ,hats scarfs in my free time. I LOVE, LOVE spending time with the elderly's and listening to their story on their life . My Grand parents on both sides have both passed so I don't get that luxury of " the old days" and I learn so much from every client /patient.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I have patience. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.

I have been doing the kind of work for over 16 years. It makes my heart smile to be able to help people. God put me on this earth to be a giver and it's so fulfilling to be a to make a difference in someone life.

I have a passion to serve our senior population. I believe everyone's story needs to be told and they just want someone to slow down and listen. I used to own my own assisted living and seniors safety and care always cane first. I also took care of my mother with terminal cancer until her death. Everyone still comments on the care level I provided.

I am a helpful, loving person that wants happiness for others just as much as I want it for myself. I believe helping people is one of the best things a person can do, especially when they can't fully care for themselves. Being a care giver is something that I have done most of my adult life in one way or another (about 5 years professionally). I helped my grandfather before his dementia set in, and was his main caregiver when he started struggling with dementia and eventually could no longer care for himself at all. Watching someone that was like my father go down that path was painful, but I consider it a privilege and a blessing that I was able to be there for him in his last years. I'm a very honest, loving, loyal person; and will care for whomever I'm caring for the same as I did my grandfather.

I became a Caregiver, to help the individual in need. I enjoy being around the elderly and young children. I am a Mother and also a Grandmother of eight grands. We play together and spend quality time together as much as possible. I became a caregiver to help those in need of assistance at home or in a facility. I love people and helping them to recover from injuries or illness. It isn't always possible for family members to care for another family member or other loved ones. I'm very passionate about the work I do in caring for my patients and also for their families. I've worked in hospice care, long term care, nursing facilities, hospitals and private care and have over 25 years experience, from Alzheimer's units to med- serg floors. I love it all and I'm continuing on to higher degrees.
