I became a caregiver because I love to help and take care of people. I like being a caregiver because I get to meet different people and care for them in ways that I am needed. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I am able to go out and assist people with their needs and be a big help to the family as well as for the patient. I have been a CNA for 10 yrs and a Medication aide for 8yrs. I have also taken phelebotomy and EKG courses.

I love working with kids & senior citizens I feel like it's my calling. I love to clean, cook, & talk to them. I feel like me and older people connect on a different level I'm more understanding towards seniors I love to chat with them. I love seeing the smiles on there faces when I'm helping them with what ever needs they have. I am proud of the Mother I am today! My kids are well loved.

I am very outgoing and positive. My patient always comes first. I enjoy seeing my patients progress when they have a goal they have set. I also enjoy helping my patients with any thing they need. It makes me happy when they are happy. My passion has always been in geriatrics. I currently attend Navarro College continuing my education for my BSN. I do not have any children which allows my schedule to be very flexible while I attend college and work. I am very passionate about my job and my patients.

I became a caregiver because I love taking care of patients and putting their families at ease, because they know their family member is getting the best care. I enjoy it because knowing the patients appreciate me makes me feel great. I HAVE BEEN A CAREGIVER FOR OVER 15YEARS.

I take pride in what I do. Working with people from all walks of life is something i enjoy. I take great care of not only my family but others as well. I am a person who loves to care for others. I love being able to help someone that may need a little extra care. I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls and am currently working for my nursing degree. I had the experience of working in a hospital setting as well as working for a home health agency. I cared for an elderly woman with rheumatoid arthritis among other things and I absolutely adored her! My passion is to work with elderly or pediatrics with my nursing degree. I have always had a soft spot for elderly mainly because I grew up around my grandparents as a child. My personal achievement is that I have been able to get my associates in liberal arts while raising my family. I enjoy being with the elderly and just communicating with them because I admire them so much. I feel they deserve so much respect because they have formed our world to what it is today.
