I am a recent college graduate of Texas Woman's University and I obtained a Bachelor's of Arts in Dance and a minor in Education. With this degree I am also a certified teacher in the state of Texas. The reason I chose this career is because I love helping people whether it's a student or someone else outside of the classroom that needs more one on one help or companionship. Home health care is very satisfying to me especially when you can be that person to ensure a client has a good day . Building positive relationships with them is very beneficial for both you and them because you get more of a sense of their likes and dislikes. I plan to continue my education to get my Masters in Special Education and home health care will also be something I plan to do more of.

First and foremost I am a Christian with a servant's heart. I can't wait for the opportunity to be able to help you or your loved one!

I care about people. I enjoy getting to meet new people and learning about them. I like making them feel special and appreciated. I am outgoing, friendly and know a little bit about a lot of things and always willing to know more. I am proud of earning my Bachelor of Science and the wonderful opproutunities that it has afforded me. I have a strong set of morals and values that were instilled in me from an early age and blessed with a family and friends.

Started my career in the home-health care field in August of 2018, I learned to listen to my clients with not only my ears, but my heart, and soul. Always asking myself how I would like to be treated if I were in their shoes. The last three years, I have assisted clients in getting well and have also worked with hospice, and local hospital personnel, managing comfort at the end of life. I understand truly what it means to keep a love one as comfortable as possible and With dignity. Whether it be companionship, accompanying to a Dr.'s appt's, preparing meals, housekeeping, medication reminders, assisting with bathing, ect., My goal is to put a smile on the face of others. I will close with "The Starfish" by Loren Eisely. Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach every morning before he began his work. Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, stretching in both directions. Off in the distance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching. As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea. The boy came closer still and the man called out, "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?" The young boy paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they can't return to the sea by themselves," the youth replied. "When the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water."The old man replied, "But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I'm afraid you won't really be able to make much of a difference."The young man listened politely, then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea. "It made a difference for that one."

I'm Hello, I have over twenty- eight years in Healthcare that includes working in a private residential group home for men and women. Provided direct care for seniors as needed, and helping others recover from surgical procedures that required short term assignments. In additional to my formal training and certifications in CPR, First Aid, and studying Nursing, I possess a caring and sensitive personality, as well as a genuine in helping others to become more independent. I apply my varied life experience and a non-judgmental approach to identifying and analyzing training needs of the individuals I support, and hold a strong commitment to developing positive working relationships with families, staff, and other caregivers.
