Why are you a caregiver? I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. What do you like best about care giving? Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. Why special qualities do you bring to your work as an in-home caregiver? I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. The daughter of one of Donna’s clients shares a little bit about the qualities Donna brings to her caregiving work: “Donna is very kind and respectful towards my mother. This job has given me opportunity to care for people and show passion to them. I am really happy for this job because all my clients are always happy after the care received from me. which has been my achievement and my enrolment in nursing school. I love caring for people.

I became a caregiver because I have a heart for helping others. Caregiving makes me feel like II keep I've accomplished something great. My many years of experience has allowed me to hone-in on the key physical elements of providing care, but my compassion, understanding, empathy, and genuine concern has allowed to reach my clients on a deeper, more human level. I have the ability to deal with even the most difficult clients with patience and respect. I truly enjoy taking care of others so much that it is second nature to me. I have had to take care of dying and chronically ill family members, as well as clients, who now I tend to treat my clients as family also.

I am an very compassionate and caring of others, honest, experienced, loyal, very dependable and punctual. I became a nurse because i enjoy taking care of people. I like seeing others happy and when they see that someone cares for them in a kind way, it makes them better.

Howdy, I've been a nurse for 26 years. I've cared for a wide variety of patients in the hospital and in home health. I left work to care for my parents until they passed. I enjoyed caring for them and would like to provide that level of care to others. I find caregiving to be one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. The opportunity to work one on one with someone and help them stay in their own home is priceless.

There are a lot of reasons I decided to become a caregiver. The ability to assist the patient with toileting, feeding, changing , helping the to ambulate, getting them dressed or putting down to sleep. The ability to get them dressed for an appointment or reading a story or listening to what they have to say. The abilities enlightened the patients and the person/persons who willing to pay the person who is providing these strengths in assisting their parent/parents.

I became a care giver because i care about people, i have a very soft place in my heart for the elderly.it makes me happy if my client is comfortable and happy. I plan to try to continue my education by attending Houston Community College and working toward a degree in Occupational Therapy.

I once used to go to nursing school to become an RN, but recently, my mom passed away and I lost interest in becoming a nurse, and instead, I continued working as a caregiver.
