Hello, I am currently a nursing student at San Jacinto. I am looking for some flexibility around my school schedule but also looking to gain experience in my professional field. I have several years experience working in medical offices and with patients. I am bilingual as well.

I am a very caring person who enjoys helping others. For over 23 years, I have mostly worked with Stroke, Alzheimer's, Dementia and Diabetes patients. My focus is the safety, health, and welfare of each person while taking care of their everyday needs. I am a Certified Special Education Teacher who taught life skills to students with Autism and Mental Retardation. I began caregiving 23 years ago when a family member had limited functions after a stroke, and others felt moving her to a SNF was the only option. I began caring for her, set up skilled in-home therapy and prepared nutritious meals which improved her health and abilities. At 93, she is still enjoying living at home.
