Hello! I'm name is Autumn and I would love to be your next caregiver! I absolutely love helping people and I have been that way my entire life. I am trustworthy, loving, caring, energetic, helping, responsible, and understanding person. I knew that I wanted to be a doctor since I was just a little girl because I wanted to work with people and do my best to make them feel better. I am currently in school to be an Athletic Trainer for Major League Baseball some day as well as work with wounded veterans at a VA Hospital. While I am in school, I figured that being a caregiver would be an excellent job for me. I admire all people so this job comes easy to me! My goal when working with patients is to make them smile, put a little sunshine in their day, and just to let them know that they have someone there. I am a caring and compassionate person and have had life experience caring for my sister with disabilities, my father with Parkinson's and my son with epilepsy. In addition, my mother recently had a stroke after having had open heart surgery and I continue to help care for her as well. My youngest children are now in college and I am looking to find a part-time assignment to supplement my income and help them with college expenses. My passion is teaching children but love the interaction with the elderly as well.

I used to help my grandmother-in-law, by putting her in the car and taking her out, helping set up the bath and help her walk to different parts of the house, even to adjust/ fix her bed to how she wanted it. I love being able to help older people , it reminds me of when I used to visit my great grandmother here in san marcos she had Alzheimer's so she didnt always remember me but it brings back good memories for me regardless of ,how the other person os giving back is the right thing to do. I enjoy being about to be open about different things with someone that is very wise and hearing their stories of life if willing to talk. I may not have alot of experience, however when I volunteered at an activity center for the elderly I was really amazed that alot of them still have the shocking talent as they did back in their time.
