As a salesperson, the customer is most important. This wasn't so much as a task, being that I am a naturally caring person, which is why I'm interested to be a caregiver. I want to reach a new level where I can put my caring heart where it's heavily needed. I am a perfectionist, therefore I am determined to reach full satisfaction of any patient, while doing it carefully. I am willing to be flexible if I'm needed longer or if I need to learn more about who I'm caring for. I have only been a caregiver for pets and babies/toddlers of friends and family, but I hope I am taken into consideration, because I can only imagine the joy it would bring me to help keep someone happy and healthy, for not only themselves, but for their loved ones too.

I enjoy helping people. I can supply the patient with whatever needs required. I enjoy helping the patient have the best quality of life that they can have. I am proud to have been a middle school science teacher for 25 years. I enjoyed seeing them learn and grow. It would be my pleasure to help your loved one at this time of their life.

For most of my life I had an unhealthy father. Much of it was in and out of hospitals, doctor visits, breathing treatments, medications and so forth. And for most of my life, I had been considered an "artist"; in this way, the creating itself had been its own kind of therapy for me. "Art Therapy" it was. And although much of my life was in art, it was also in awareness of what my dad went through medically. The laziness, the lack of care, all the things I had wished to change but helpless to do about. It wasn't until my father died however that I made a complete change of my path. When my father passed, something occured within me that pushed this need I had felt to care for and help others. While I stood by helplessly watching my father experience such low grade care before dying, I wanted to be the care I'd wished to have seen when he was still around. And this "push" to do so was immediate and it was strong. So, I did what I had to to make it happen any way that I could. It was more like this "calling" I had had, and became an immediate priority of my life. I'd never experienced anything like it before. I moved all the way to Lubbock where my friend had said I could stay while I got all my CNA work and hours done. I moved, got certified as a CNA and had been hired on where I did clinicals at. My first job into the healthcare field was at a Retirement home where Alzheimer's and dementia was common. Although the job of a cna can be hard and consuming, it was the best job I ever had before. Caring for and helping others in need overall gives you this sense of "wholeness" you never had before. And deciding to be the change you wished to see makes you feel good inside as well, bc it has to start somewhere. And everyone deserves a good level of care when they've got other health concerns going on.

1. Because I listen to the client and I am a kind and loving person and desire to do a good job. 2. Scheduling freedom-I can work when and if I want that day-lack of routine each client is different 3. I was a flight attendant for 35 years and selected to fly on the Papal Charter when Pope John Paul came to the US. 4. I am 70 yrs. old very active and in good physical condition. In addition to being a flight attendant, I am also a professional organizer who helps people organize their homes, offices, and personal papers. I have worked with clients in their homes for 15 years. Both careers have prepared me to be a caregiver. I care about and enjoy working with people and help them solve their problems for the day. I would prefer working with the client that needs more of a personal assistant/caregiver as opposed to someone who needs personal hygiene care. Driving, shopping, cooking, organizing their home, personal assisting are some of the tasks I would enjoy helping someone with.

I became a caregiver to help the elderly that need assistance as well as those who just need a companion. I really like being able to make a difference to someone and have an impact on their life. I am proud of getting my associates degree while being a single mother and working. I am in the processs of obtaining my bachelors degree and I have a 4 year old son.

I believe interaction with people is the most important activity someone has. I truly enjoy intra-personal communication. The one-on-one aspect creates a drive for a deepening bond with anyone needing care services. I have experience with elderly and 16-25-year-olds. My personality allows me to connect with different cultures, ideas, and age groups with ease. I enjoy learning history through the experiences of other people. Making a difference in someone's life is why I choose sociology as my first bachelor's degree; learning about human interaction with one another helped me attain my desire to help people. The biggest personal achievement was when I won the counselor of the year award.

I love being of service to those who wish to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have patience and compassion as well as professionalism and communication skills. My clients are my priority and I aim to provide the highest level of sta dard of care.

I became a caregiver to a family member and found it to be a fulfilling role. I enjoy helping others and bringing them and their loved ones a sense of comfort. I've been told that I'm a patient and empathic person and I suppose that is why I love this work so much! I believe that everyone has the capacity to live a full and happy life with a little bit of support. Being able to help someone achieve this is a wonderful experience.

Being a caregiver is something I enjoy because not only is it a learning experience for my future ambitions and goals, but it is also a way to communicate with others and help people in the small way I can. People tend to say that I'm a very patient and understanding person and I believe that those traits are some important traits that come with being a caregiver. Some of my future ambitions and goals is to become a travel nurse and a doctor of nursing and being a caregiver is like a stepping stone to better things I want in my life. The thing I'm most proud of is that I was able to know what I wanted to do in my life before I even got enrolled in university and that nothing has changed even after being a caregiver and experiencing first hand what it's like to fully be a nurse and in the health sciences field.

Hi! My name is Makaizja I currently attend Texas State University studying Political Science with a minor in Aero Space Studies. I am a sophomore and am set to graduate in 2024. I have been doing care giving work for about 3 years. I started to become really involved in wanting to help others when my grandpa was diagnosed with diabetes. I would go over and help my grandma care for him after the diabetes took his sight because it became very difficult for her to care for him and herself on her own after his passing I still had an urge to help others so I started doing care giving for my two clients I have now.

I am a compassionate patient and attentive individual with a natural ability to connect with others and provide thoughtful personalized care. My strength lies with empathy, clear communication, adaptability and organizational skills. I am drawn to care giving, because I genuinely enjoy helping others feel valued, comfortable and empowered in their daily lives. I enjoyed most about being a caregiver is forming meaningful relationships with clients and their family. I pride consistent, emotional support and practical assistance and the personal achievement. I am especially proud of are my children another form care giving within itself.

I am a very detail-oriented and caring person. I love having a positive impact on someone's day and making life easier for them. I have worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients while at Poet's Walk. I also have grandparents with Alzheimer's, so I know what all it entails and how it can vary among different people. I have lots of experience in foodservice and preparing snacks and meals. I also have experience shopping and delivering supplies and food to customers with Favor.

As a caregiver, I learned to slow down in this fast paced world and enjoy every moment where my clients are happy and healthy. As a child, I always loved Checkers, Puzzles, Rubik's Cube and other brain stimulating toys. Then, I discovered that the best opportunity to get back to these toys is to play them with my clients. I believe, we will both benefit from them. In addition, according to my family and friends, I'm a great cook. Yummy meals from different countries, freshly baked goods in the afternoon along with a great conversation... What can be better way to live?

I became a caregiver by choice after my father required 24-hour supervision; otherwise he would have had to be in a skilled nursing facility. I like providing both necessary and nurturing care. In addition, I liked to make him happy. I am proudest of how happy and content he was at the end of his life by, partly, my care and keeping him out of a nursing home. I am a spiritual person who believes my mission is to serve others.

I am a excellent caregiver because I pay attention to my clients by learning their likes and dislikes. It's important to me that my client is comfortable with me and knowing that they dont have to tell me everyday how they like the same routine done. I take pride in my work. I am prompt and the times that I may be running late I make sure I call ahead of time so that the proper arrangements can be made. I am very compassionate. I believe in the rule of do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I treat my clients the way I would want someone to treat my family. I am neat and organized. I am a good cook and I dont mind learning new recipes. Even though Ive been in the caregiving business for years I am still teachable. I love learn new ways to help make life easier and comfortable for my client. I have a great personality. I engage in activities and conversations with my clients if thats what they like. I think getting to know a person is very important. I know how to keep professional conversations and how to conduct myself in a professional manner. I dont want to ever make my client feel like Im just their to sit and accumulate a paycheck. (thats not what Im about) Although Im a easy going person I know how to be firm when it comes to my clients safety. I am a big advocate for making my client comfortable, happy, and regain /keep their independence. I am honest. I complete my task. I believe that my performance and ability to complete my work before my shift is over
