I have taken care of children for many years, but I would like a change. I volunteered at a nursing home and just fell in love with the people. I have a lot of training in CPR and First Aid/AED. I am WSI certified so I can teach them water aerobics. I love the feeling of getting to be helpful of someone and getting to hear stories from someone older. I enjoy learning from others and adding it to my base knowledge.

I'm a very honest and caring person. I love getting to know people and making new friends, of all ages. I have a special place in my heart for my grandmother who means the world to me, and if she were living with me, I would watch after her every day.

I took care of both of my grandmothers during their final months. One had dementia and they both died from congestive heart failure. I have also helped take care of my elderly grandfather who has heart issues.

I am a Junior in Nursing school (BSN) at TX STATE University and train under board certified registered nurses at St. David's Medical Center in Roundrock.

I have been a caregiver for more than twenty years, and I continue to do so part-time as I finish college. I am very comfortable attending the needs of those unable to do for themselves. I respect the families wishes that their loved ones get the very best I can offer and more. I will honor your trust in me and to those person I would serve.

I have worked with young children for many years which has taught me patience and love. I have always had a a lot to give and find enjoyment in sharing what I can with others.

I believe that I am a great caregiver because I have worked with the elderly professionally for one year, but two of my family members have had dementia/Alzheimer's so I gained a lot of experience from that. I am kind, patient, compassionate, and I have a huge heart for the elderly! I have always had close relationships with my residents at the nursing home that I work at. I wanted to be a caregiver because I love to take care of people and I feel like I give very intentional care which is something that my family members did not receive. I like to be the best at everything I do, and I am proud to say that I give the best possible care. I love to be a companion to the elderly as well. I enjoy talking about their lives & things that they have accomplished. Something that I am proud of that I have done is maintaining my CNA job for over a year. It is hard work, but I genuinely enjoy doing it & I trust that when I am at work, my residents are receiving the best care which is rewarding in itself.

I have worked in a hospital, acute care hospital, with hospice residents, long term care, dementia care and rehab. I have experience doing everything. I am a nursing student with 2 years left until I get my BSN. Geriatrics is my passion. I would love the opportunity to take care of your loved one!

I am a very friendly individual. I like to talk and make people laugh. I've always wanted to be in the health care services I just did not know what is was, but I always knew I wanted to help people I feel as if I would enjoy the time being with the person and helping them, and try to help them kind of have fun still. Hello! My name is Lia Rangel-Howard. I am currently seeking a part-time job as a caregiver. I am wonderful with older people especially older ladies as my mother herself is a young 98 year old wonderful healthy lady herself. Some of my greatest joys come in being her caregiver on the weekend that me and my siblings alternate on being blessed to spend our one on one time with Mom. I know I am a trustworthy caretaker, I am great housekeeper, and a pretty good cook that would benefit anyone in need of meal prep.
