I'm a very caring,passionate, dedicated individual. That takes pride in being able to be at aide and comfort to individuals that need. I've been a Pca for over 6 years. I've just about worked with a diverse group of people elderly,disabled,and kids. Being a caregiver has always been a passion of mines since a child always wanted to be of assistance or help especially to who ever need a lil more help. The thing that makes my job not just a job is being able to establish a relationship and advice as well as be the voice or be the light of sunshine to my clients day.

Hello, I'm Morgan! I became a certified caregiver in 2016 after caring for my mother, who has Multiple Sclerosis, for many years. I feel this is a good fit for me because I'm naturally caring, gentle and patient. I also see how big a need there is for people in the same position as my mother and it is extremely fulfilling to fill that need. I have experience with dementia/Alzheimers, bathing, dressing, catheter care, cooking, cleaning and running errands. I've worked in various facilities, hospitals and in private homes. I'm comfortable around pets and can assist in taking them out if need be.

A great caregiver is someone who is kind, compassionate, and loving by nature. A generous, sensitive spirit can't be taught only given by the Creator Himself. Caregiving found me. The elderly, children, and animals bring joy to my heart. If I can bring a little peace and comfort into the life of another person I feel I've done what the Master called me to do. My career as a caregiver began by working in a nursing home facility over a year ago. I worked with respiratory patients, wound care patients, dementia patients, HIV patients, hospice patients, Alzheimer patients, and handicapped patients who had all of their faculties but because of missing limbs were unable to stay at home. I learned to give very basic to advanced care. While the level of care changed the one thing that remained constant was the need for a kind word. I was often asked to go into a room and communicate with a difficult patient because there was something about my calm voice and gentle nature that turned every tide into smooth sailing. I left the facility because it was heartbreaking. It should have been a place where every worker enjoyed working there. Instead finding someone who enjoyed their work was a rarity. I believe private duty will be much more fulfilling.

I enjoy caring for the seniors. I have 21 years of experience working in the medical field. I have worked in a dementia unit, hospitals, nursing homes, home health, hospice etc.... Helping others is what I enjoy doing.

I am very good listener and outgoing. I love the feeling I get from helping others and making them smile. I was always interested in being in the medical field from a very young age. Right out of high school I geared myself up to work with the elderly. I fell in love with helping my patients day better, making them smile and laugh. What I enjoy most about being a care giver or shall I say helping others is knowing that I made their day a bit easier, I never like to leave a person feeling anything but better than when I walked in the door. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of today is being the best mother I could be and seeing my first born off to college, I could not be more proud.

Hi how are you ..my name is Camille Walton and I feel God has called me to be a care giver my whole life ..I love caring for and helping others . I was introduced to care giving very young I would go to work with my mother who was a care giver of multiple patients, I absolutely loved it they became my best friends. A few years later my mother got cancer that was the first time I had to personally care for someone by myself after school I would make sure she ate, made sure we got to her appointments, I would bathe her , wash her clothes as well as cleaning the house and making sure she took her medicine, I was only in middle school and it was imperative to me that my studies were still up to par it was alot but like I mentioned before it made me feel good to help someone who needed me . After this experience with my mom in high-school I would care for one of my close friends grandmother after school I bathed her and gave her her medications as well as feeding her. She had back and shoulder problems as well so I would always make to massage her a few times a week and make sure her nails and feet were also cut, clean , and not in pain. Not long after my mother had a stroke and lost control over both of her arms again and that is when I became her full time care giver again, and I now still handle all of my mothers important business even though I stay 8 hours away from her. In fact what brought me back to NC was my great grandmother she is 86 has dementia and diabetes she needed around the clock care so I came to help her , my daily duties were to weigh her every morning, give her her medicine and feed her breakfast, she also has to have her diaper changed every so often and her bed sheets washed and changed everyday along with meal plans and cleaning the entire house . I never cared about getting paid I just want people to know they are loved and cared about I want to be the help someone needs . Thank you and u can't wait to hear from you soon.

I have been working as a caregiver since I was 16. For the last 6 years I have been the primary care provider for my husband who passed away in April from lung cancer. I enjoy helping improve the quality of life for my patients and making there lives easier and more enjoyable as well as helping them heal.
