Everyday I go to help some it makes me happy that I can make a different in their lives them with they daily activities and show them that I really care about them and their wellness

I became a caregiver to help others as it is something that I truly enjoy and has been a very rewarding job. Helping those in need that can no longer assist themselves has been very meaningful to me. I like to bring joy to peoples lives. I also had a wonderful experience and opportunity to work for the Red Cross in Germany and I am a German speaker. I aman accomplished musician and vocalist, and I have performed in nursing homes, it is a joy to see all the faces that I have put a smile on.. I am CPR Certified, First Aid, TB is valid, valid D/L

I have always desired to help others in need and became a LVN in October 1991. I have worked in a few medical settings including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Home Health. I have worked with geriatric patients as well as pediatric ones and also adults. I left the field for a several years to raise my son, but am looking to once again use my skills to help promote nurturing care in an acute or long-term setting.

I know we all, will get old some day. I treat my patients, with respect and love.

I have worked in the past with both teens and adults with developmental disabilities as a Residential Rehabilitation Technician. I enjoyed caring for the residents in the group homes but it wasn't until I had the opportunity to work with geriatric patients as a Home Health Aide that I realized what I wanted to do in life. Over the past 10 years, I have worked for a non-profit agency helping the homeless and terminally ill. I recently cared for an elderly gentleman with both Pulmonary Fibrosis and Alzheimer's. I was able to help him spend his last days in his home because he really did not want to move into a nursing home. Just knowing that I was able to do this for someone made my job even more fulfilling. I returned college part-time to become a Registered Nurse. I have come to the realization that the more training and knowledge I obtain, then the more people I can help. I truly love the path that I have chosen in life.

I became a caregiver to use my knowledge and compassion to help others. I like being a caregiver because I like to see people get better or just be there to help them get through a rough patch or assist them in their journey to heaven. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2001. I have worked in acute care, sub-acute care, transitional care, ER, Med Surg, home care, vent care and long term care.

I am just so loving and caring. I actually was my moms caregiver until she passed. I just have that people person attitude. I always have been a person full of accomplishments. I became a caregiver because I have always loved being a helping hand. I love having relationships with my patients and knowing I am helping them as much as I can. I am proud of how of staying in this course, because nothing makes me happier. I am a dedicated worker.

I became a caregiver because I have a compassionate heart and at the time I felt the need to fulfill my calling. I am known to take care of everyone. Within the lifestyle of caregiving I enjoy knowing that I am making a difference in someone's life. My most recent achievement that I am extremely proud of is graduating college with my associates degree in Early Childhood education, which is also another branch of caregiving in a sense. I was certified as a CNA in 1990 and started working as a caregiver for 8 years before entering into the office to help with staffing. When I was out in the field I did as I should to make sure I did my job as a caregiver successfully. I love making sure my clients are clean, safe and not hungry. I couldn't serve all of them so I entered into the office to make sure I found people that would have the same standards as myself.

I believe my genuine interest in people and great work ethic makes me a great caregiver. I pursued this position because of my love for helping and assisting those in need. One of the main things I like about being a caregiver is being able to help in any way possible and giving the family and loved ones of those being helped a sense of security and comfortability.
