I started as a caregiver after I left teaching with CPS. Caregiving has become a passion for me. I am honored to be able to help others. I have been trained by various Drs, nurses, hospice staff, CNAs, wound care specialists, and staff at The Rehab Institute of Chicago. I choose to learn and take everything I've learned to better my client's life, for as long as I can.

I been a caregiver for over 18 years, offering companionship and kindness to seniors,assisting with daily needs to maintain self-esteem and general wellness. I'm using Uber to go to the appointments , and grocery shopping, or to pick up meds from the pharmacy, paid by clients. I enjoy writing my own poems and spending time with my grandson.

Last 10 plus years I was the full time care giver for my mom who was a kidney patient (dialysis, medicine induced diabetic), auto-immune Patient which led to head and neck cancer and dad (COPD, Emphysema) before they passed. I enjoy caring for everyone, but the elderly hold a special place in my heart. Listening to them reminisce about the things they did when they were younger is one of my favorite things. They may not remember what they ate for breakfast, but watching their eyes light up when they tell me about a first love, a best friend from school or anything from their younger days fills my heart with joy. It takes a special person to care for our elderly. I treat your family, like I would be caring for my own. I have been a CNA for over 12 years, working in a nursing home was not a good fit for me. So I left and have spent the last 10 yrs caring for people in their own homes. I have cared for the early Alzheimer's and watch them transition. I have cared for a set of 26 wk old preemies and watched them grow to become very active girls. My greatest traits kindness, caring, loving and patient.
