I have always had a passion for helping seniors even as a very young adult. I cared for my grandmother with love and patience, but always with the respect and dignity that she deserved. I feel most comfortable when in the caregiving position. My strengths are empathy, compassion and patience..always with a smile! I am very reliable and punctual. I have extensive experience working with seniors in many different capacities, from parkinsons, MS, alzheimers, dementia, stroke, and wheelchair bound. I have worked in hospital settings as a CNA, nursing homes, hospice centers, and assisted living centers. I helped with all ADL's, including bathing, transfers, errands, meal prep, toileting, light housekeeping and engaging in social activities with clients including walks, cards and games! I have been a a caregiver for 12 yrs. My mother passed away 1 year ago at 95 and was blessed to help in her care. She had dementia for her last 10 yrs. She passed peacefully at home. I was in charge of bathing, cooking and cleaning. Also medication and dr visits. It would be a honor if I can help you or family member.
