I have always had a passion for helping seniors even as a very young adult. I cared for my grandmother with love and patience, but always with the respect and dignity that she deserved. I feel most comfortable when in the caregiving position. My strengths are empathy, compassion and patience..always with a smile! I am very reliable and punctual. I have extensive experience working with seniors in many different capacities, from parkinsons, MS, alzheimers, dementia, stroke, and wheelchair bound. I have worked in hospital settings as a CNA, nursing homes, hospice centers, and assisted living centers. I helped with all ADL's, including bathing, transfers, errands, meal prep, toileting, light housekeeping and engaging in social activities with clients including walks, cards and games! I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2.
