For people with high levels of care needed, my support in invaluable. Treating them with attentive, proper, and respectful care is a significant role to ensure they retain their dignity and independence during the latter stages of life. For me, helping seniors and others is a great accomplishment and feels highly rewarding, knowing that I could turn a unbearable day into a great one. I have many seniors that are still alive but still want me to care for them just because of our relationship, but because of my schooling, and areas they are,won't just allow me to do that, but I still connect with them on phones. Taking care of seniors is a privilege for me because it makes me remember that, one day, am gonna be like them and this makes me want to care for them, better than anyone! After years of caregiving in the home including taking care of my mom who had gone through all the stages of Alzheimer's I learned about compassion, patience, love, and understanding.The greatest thing you can do in life is to care for someone. I enjoy doing crafts, being with people and traveling. I also do walks for charities. I am looking for part time work durning the day.

Hello! My name is Reina and I am 18 years old. I am currently working as a hostess, but I previously worked at a dementia care facility in Sycamore, IL. I was responsible for at least 25 residents at a time, so I am able to effectively time manage, reduce fall risks, and offer great companionship. I absolutely loved working there, but it was hard for me to balance school and work. Now that I have graduated I am looking for a more personal and stable job. I love my residents and always will! As well as a RCA, I also assisted in activities and exercise programs for the residents at the facility!
