After a massive Corporate downsizing, I have changed careers and turned to the Healthcare field. I have over 30 years experience taking care of family and clients, ranging from neonatal, special needs including quadriplegia, to hospice care. The last 20 years have also included dementia/stroke, oxygen, TPN, feeding tubes and post operative care. In addition, I have also been asked by 2 clients to become their personal assistant. This included travel to the grocery store, doctor appointments, downsizing homes, moving packing and unpacking, traveling across country and also property managed my clients home while it was on the market to sell. I was responsible for at least 25 residents at a time, so I am able to effectively time manage, reduce fall risks, and offer great companionship. I absolutely loved working there, but it was hard for me to balance school and work. Now that I have graduated I am looking for a more personal and stable job. I love my residents and always will!
