I am a compassionate and caring person with 10 plus years experience as a Certified Nurses Aide. I am on time for work and am rarely sick. I have worked in a hospital setting for the past 15 years. I like to get to know the patients I care for and I want them to get to know me. I have a good sense of humor and try my best to make patients feel good about themselves. If the patient feels good about who is caring for them they feel more comfortable and makes the family more comfortable.

My caring, compassionate, and sympathetic characteristics make me a great caregiver and companion for people of all ages. I am attracted to being a caregiver solely because I get true fulfillment from helping others. Additionally, I am working towards being in the medical field for my career, so this experience of is just another way that I am allowed the opportunity to expand my journey of serving others. I personally enjoy the bond I get to build with the people I care for and the relationships that come out of them. A personal achievement I am proud of is being a collegiate athlete. Being an athlete while studying for my degree, has taught me life long skills of time managements, discipline, and dedication.

I was a nurturer from inception. I love caring for people and helping them maintain the life they are accustomed to. I have taken care of my mom for 11 years. I am big on nutrition for health but will cook whatever is requested. I am a retired engineer so I relate well with all ages. I am good at ADLs, med reminders, hospice, companionship, gardening, cleaning and cooking.

What makes me the perfect fit to be a caregiver, is that of course I'm caring, compassionate, loving and outgoing. I love spending time with my residents and I love working one on one, I love to be the person who's there to help when there's no one else that's able to. I like coming in their lives and making it better when no one else can. I'm currently a college student, I attend Robert Morris University and I want to get my bachelors in Surgical Technology and my Masters in Healtcare Management.

It might sound cliche, but I feel as though God put me on this Earth to help others. I originally wanted to be a psychologist, but I knew I would worry about my patients too much. My next best option? Nursing. Becoming a CNA is one of the first steps I'm taking towards becoming a nurse. I'm very enthusiastic about my future career, and I'm currently attending Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, Illinois. I'm planning to further my education to a Master's- possibly a doctorate's degree. I hope to one day become part of the Mercy Ships or Doctors Without Borders. The goal may be a stretch, but I am willing to work hard to get there.

I have been care giver almost 20 years. I have passion for the others who are elder, poor weak, helpless , lonely, my mother was a nurse in small town in India. When I was 10 I went with my mother to visit her patient house to house. My mother give me this sprits to help the weak and older people

I would like to begin with, when caring for your loved one, i treat each person with the same respect and dignity I would desire my loved ones to recieve, as they become an extension of our families. I am a very versital person, who seems to be able to adapt to all types of people. I've been in home health as a pa/cna most of my career & have several specialties. I am a single mother of two special needs children & one adopted who also has special needs. In my oppinion although contriversial, almost always a great way to "break the ice" or build a repore with each individual, is Music, money, tattoos, politics, & religon. Although it seems slightly redundant professionalsm is important but so is bonding which kept me with the same pt for 10 yrs. In home health we play many roles. I am always eager to learn about people, as well as any new experience. I perform well in high pressure as well as a standard environment. In conclusio i have an ability to relate to just about anyone.
