Hi, I am a mom of 4. One of my kids have a heart disease which has landed him with 3 open heart surgeries all before he was 3. I am dedicated to my work and love for people. My dream has always been in the medical field so I can help people. I can not wait to extend my family with being a caregiver to someone that needs me.

I've been CNA certified in Cambridge Ohio in 2004 at Victorian Oaks where I worked with Althiemerz and Dementia patients. I love what I do so when I returned to Texas I decided to further my career and go to school for nursing. I completed my LVN, RN and I'm working on my BSN. I always went the opposite direction from Healthcare while finding a career. Until I was forced to take on the role, I never thought I was the type. Turns out im exactly the type and maybe even born to do it. I have a natural ability to care for people. I see beyond the brave words and read whats really wrong with people. I love that! To gain the trust of some that aren't so easy to give trust. Its priceless.

I have a wonderful personality I never meet a stranger and I believe helping others is very rewarding.. I love to put a smile on my clients face.. I enjoy making them feel good about their situation.. I have plenty of patience to handle memory lose.. I also enjoy just hearing their stories, I am single and I live alone so I have plenty of time for their needs.. My personal achievements is being able to take things that I am not sure about and I study for more knowledge.. I enjoy being a caregiver and making a difference in someone 's life.

I became a caregiver in 2004 because I'd spent the last few years of my grandmother's life helping her while she suffered with Alzheimers. I saw how important it was for them to have someone there to help them with the day to day when family couldn't be. Then after I got into the profession my love for helping others just grew. To see the joy it brings to the person to sometimes just have someone there for a companion. I work full time at Rusk State Hospital working closely with clients on Therapeutic Rehabilitation. I went back to part time home health again in July 2021 and am so thankful that I did. In the last 4 years I've worked with some of the absolute most wonderful families. One client even always told his wife, "I'm sure glad she's coming today because I miss her, she's a sweet little girl". I feel such a connection with my clients that to me, they aren't just clients, they are family! I go above and beyond during my visits, I dont just cook and clean. I help out with things from small art projects to flower gardening with my clients, whatever makes them smile that day is what they needed. I am currently on my CPR and Basic Life Support Certification as well.

I like to think of myself as a positive friendly caring person who has a passion and a big heart for people especially in their biggest need for assistance and companionship, serving and helping is what I do, so my heart is where I'm at, my "job"as a caregiver start time from 730am to 430 pm hours

I like being cooperative and accepting help keeping tabs on med reminders people may ask questions over and over I have patience to answer I am empathy and understanding when caring find things to laugh about in tough situations
