My grandparents raised me and so automatically I have always loved the elderly. I received my certification for nurses aide in 2008 and have worked at various nursing homes since then. I love helping these people and hearing their stories. A personal achievement for me is whenever one of my elderly clients tells me "thank you for all that you do." I like to believe that somehow I have made a difference in their lives for that day.

Hi, I am a mom of 4. One of my kids have a heart disease which has landed him with 3 open heart surgeries all before he was 3. I am dedicated to my work and love for people. My dream has always been in the medical field so I can help people. I can not wait to extend my family with being a caregiver to someone that needs me.

I enjoy helping people & making them feel better about their self. I also like to clean & cook. I worked in a nursing home for 12 years or so as a Activity Director, but so much more I did inside & out of the nursing home as well, I love being around the people!

I've been CNA certified in Cambridge Ohio in 2004 at Victorian Oaks where I worked with Althiemerz and Dementia patients. I love what I do so when I returned to Texas I decided to further my career and go to school for nursing. I completed my LVN, RN and I'm working on my BSN. I'm very passionate about what I do and I apply myself with my whole heart. I always went the opposite direction from Healthcare while finding a career. Until I was forced to take on the role, I never thought I was the type. Turns out im exactly the type and maybe even born to do it. I have a natural ability to care for people. I see beyond the brave words and read whats really wrong with people. I love that! To gain the trust of some that aren't so easy to give trust. Its priceless.

I'm very easy going and nurturing. It's a blessing in itself to be able to be of service to anyone in need. The different personalities and knowing I made this person's day a little easier. The growth and growing of me!

I became a caregiver in 2004 because I'd spent the last few years of my grandmother's life helping her while she suffered with Alzheimers. I saw how important it was for them to have someone there to help them with the day to day when family couldn't be. Then after I got into the profession my love for helping others just grew. To see the joy it brings to the person to sometimes just have someone there for a companion. I work full time at Rusk State Hospital working closely with clients on Therapeutic Rehabilitation. I went back to part time home health again in July 2021 and am so thankful that I did. In the last 4 years I've worked with some of the absolute most wonderful families. One client even always told his wife, "I'm sure glad she's coming today because I miss her, she's a sweet little girl". I feel such a connection with my clients that to me, they aren't just clients, they are family! I go above and beyond during my visits, I dont just cook and clean. I help out with things from small art projects to flower gardening with my clients, whatever makes them smile that day is what they needed. I am currently on my CPR and Basic Life Support Certification as well.

Caring, friendly and direct in tasks that need to be completed. After working in an assisted living program, I realized that sometimes people need a little extra help. I mostly enjoy being able to help others. Completing my Bachelor's degree as a single mother while raising my 2 children.
