I have dedicated my life to helping others. My background includes providing care to seniors with limited mobility, terminal illnesses ,strokes, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. In these roles, I consistently team with family members, case managers, hospice and assisted living staff to create an environment conducive to the seniors' physical and mental health. I use a person-centered approach. Learning more about seniors and their needs is important, therefore, I frequently attend pertinent training and classes. I am: FULLY VACCINATED and boosted from COVID 19, certified in CPR and First Aid. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to work part time or full time . My favorite thing about being a caregiver is the fact that your helping others and I love to help. I love knowin at the end up the day that I made the day easier for my residents and that they know if they ever need anything of some sort I'll be their to help. My first jon as a caregiver I was thrown into and I had no idea what I was doing but due to training and my fellow employees they made it easy to love and learn how to do all the things and assistance the residents need on a day to day basis.

I truly think one of the absolute best things about me in my previous experiences as being a caregiver is I don't look at it like a paycheck. It's a family. I treat residents like they are my own family. What attracted me to being a caregiver was I heard people were being indecent to the residents so I applied to make sure they got treated the way they deserve. I truly know that's what I most enjoyed as a a caregiver because I knew if I was on the floor I knew the residents would have the love and care they needed. I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients like they are part of my family and how I would want to be treated. I chose to be a caregiver because I like helping others and I do not have any of my grandparents alive anymore, so this way I get to make memories with other elderly people.
