I enjoy working with people and helping them in anyway, I am COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) by trade, I have worked in SNF and outpatient therapy for about six years. I love being able to help a patient regain independence and help them compensate with a disability.

I have worked as a Caregiver for over 15 years. Went to college for LPN. I enjoy working to help & care for people, it is very satisfying to me, I feel it stems from growing up in a large family. I have three grown children & care for three of my Grandchildren full time & love every minute of it, they all are loving, kind, generous, & intelligent for their ages. They would be the most recent thing I am proud of to date!

Why did you become a Caregiver? My mother lost about 70% of her stomach from cancer and was in need of a Caregiver. I decided to quit my job at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and become her full-time Caregiver. What do you like about being a Caregiver? Clients really appreciate the service I provide for them. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Putting my personal needs and wants aside to take care of my mother during a time when she was at her lowest point (emotionally, physically, mentally & financially), due to cancer. Tell us something about yourself. -I have seven years of experience as an Elderly Caregiver (Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Cancer, Hepatitis B & C, and other medical conditions). -I am Honest, friendly, and very compassionate with all my clients. I know how important it is to focus on helping my clients use the skills they currently possess and to be patient with any limitations they have. -I am a military wife, mom of 4 adult children, and 2 grandchildren. I'm also a part-time student at Florida State College of Jacksonville.

I am compassionate, dependable, patient and trustworthy. I have been a nurse since 1986. I feel privileged to care for others. I enjoy getting to know my patients and family. I am passionate about the care of our children and elderly.

I absolutely love working with people and taking care of my patients. I love my patients to feel relaxed and like they can rely on me for any needs. I have always wanted to work in the medical field and while going to nursing school i decided to get my CNA licence. I am currently CPR & First Aid Certified.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I have empathy and am compassionate with all of my clients. I also am very patient and enjoy working with others. I have always felt that it was my calling to be a caregiver. I am a licensed nursing assistant in AZ but am looking for a caregiving job in GA. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to know my clients. It is so exciting learning about them and their interests. I enjoy having a personal connection with all of my clients and their families. An achievement that I am proud of is graduating nursing school recently and furthering my education. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping those who are in need...I Been a caregiver for 8 years...I loved what I do and that's taking care of the ederly..My hourly rate is between 17.00-20.00 an hour depending on the case..I also do service calls up to 3 hours and it 75 for first hour and 25 for each additional hour, that will include light housekeeping..run errands...grocery shopping etc..
