I have 13 years experience as a Cna and 20 years experience in the healthcare field. The reason I decided to become a caregiver is because of my grandmother, she turned I'll around 2003 and I stepped in to help take care of her. I think being a caregiver is my calling and something that I love and enjoy doing.

I became a Nursing Assistant when my grandfather was diagnosed with Cancer it was hard on my grandmother, but once I stepped in with bathing, helping with light housekeeping around the house or just letting my grandmother get out for an hour or two her load was lightened it was a blessing. I felt giving back to my grandfather for all the love and support he has given me all the years was truly from the heart, he later passed away within three months then my grandmother was diagnosed with Cancer and I stepped in for her with just myself and my little children and again it was a blessing but challenging at same time but God gave me strength through my trail and made me strong.If i can give that to everyone I come in contact with am complete because it's from the heart helping someone with a bath, dressing them for the day, of just having a conversation means a lot to so many.. I love what I do and can give another individual

I have been a caregiver for over 17 years. I most certainly love what I do. What makes me a great caregiver is that i am very patient, gentle and sensitive to the needs of my clients. I am very caring and compassionate and that is what has drawn me to become a caregiver because people need care and they most definitely need to be shown compassion.
