I have 13 years experience as a Cna and 20 years experience in the healthcare field. The reason I decided to become a caregiver is because of my grandmother, she turned I'll around 2003 and I stepped in to help take care of her. I think being a caregiver is my calling and something that I love and enjoy doing.

I became a Nursing Assistant when my grandfather was diagnosed with Cancer it was hard on my grandmother, but once I stepped in with bathing, helping with light housekeeping around the house or just letting my grandmother get out for an hour or two her load was lightened it was a blessing. I felt giving back to my grandfather for all the love and support he has given me all the years was truly from the heart, he later passed away within three months then my grandmother was diagnosed with Cancer and I stepped in for her with just myself and my little children and again it was a blessing but challenging at same time but God gave me strength through my trail and made me strong.If i can give that to everyone I come in contact with am complete because it's from the heart helping someone with a bath, dressing them for the day, of just having a conversation means a lot to so many.. I love what I do and can give another individual

I am 27 years old .Im well educated person and currently enrolled in school for my bachelors in healthcare administration. I'm a single mother is a 5 year old girl. I have family time on my down time.Sometimes I go out to shop I love to shop travel.One day I wanna be able to travel the world. Heart kinded I love to help others that are in need.

I love to be able to help others from young to older, did it half of my life. I live in hammond,indiana with my husband and dog. I Enjoy adventures and family time. Being hands on with a person everyday or week you become close and understand them. I have the patience, awareness of my surroundings, fast actions and enjoy helping others. If I don't know what to do I'll look it up or ask lots of questions. I been taking care of my dad for the last 8 years, every Tuesday I take him to his doctor appointments and I also do housekeeping every Friday mornings for the last 2 years. Hello I am a longtime caregiver, health aid, dsp, pca, and stna! recently moved back home with my parents to help care for them as well with daily life living!! I love my job and I have been interested in the medical field since a young girl even taking the health program my 4 yrs of high school at a career technical school!! I'm very passionate about my career; I am proud of my other achievements as well like being a cosmologist and also a front and back of the house cook before dappling in the culinary field. I have work beside a couple a chefs and learn a lot along the way! I love to cook it's my most favorite hobby I enjoy! Also I love music mostly all genres and to read! I like to do puzzles and watch a good movie/show when I can!! In all I'm very nice funny smart well educated and trained caregiver who takes pride in my work; I do what I do because I care and respect my clients and families I truly want to help provide my best to benefit everyone!!

I Love being a caregiver because I love to help. This is my passion, I've been a caregiver for 24 years. My goal is to be able to listen and give the patient what they need. Showing compassion and respect to my patients is what's important to me. I spent a lot of time with my grandfather as a kid and when I grew up I remember always saying that I wanted to work in the Health field. What I enjoy most is seeing them smile and being able to help them. Throughout my years of working in the Healthcare field, I'm so proud to say that I have taken care of 2 of my previous bosses. Both have passed on and it was so rewarding for me to once work for them and to be able to take care of them till the end.

With over 6 years in the health and educational field , I have gotten so much experience that emits through my work. Working with developmentally disabled individuals has taught me to be extremely patient and empathetic. Working at the hospital has made me seen patients at their best and worst. Therefore I believe in improvement. A positive incline in my patients health is what motivates me to choose to further my education. Presently attending The University of Illinois at Chicago, juggling school, personal life, and work has also taught me to be extremely time cautious and very resourceful. I have always wanted to major in the medical field, I started working towards my degree in nursing, and I got a job as a CNA. Working with the elderly has been great, it has given me more Patience than I already had. being able to care for someone that can be my grandmother or any family member brings great satisfaction. of course my 87 year old grandmother with early obset Alzheiner's, still lives at home. it is my heart pleasure to see the elderly be safe and happy in their own home with proper care.
