I have been in this field for 13 years now and I really love what I do . I really enjoy being able to help others . I have my CMT , I've been certified for almost three years now . I prep meals , clean, and I do laundry. I have worked with lots of different people. For example people with dementia and altimeters. I've also done just companion care.

I've been a caregiver for 10 yrs I love being able to help make a person feel safe and comfortable in their home I'm a great companion listening and I have lots of energy to make a bad day a good one ima proud of the fact that every client I've ever had loves me because I come with love and compassion when I enter and work in their home I have experience in it all it's nothing I can't do

I have always been more mature for my age. I grew up as an only child, only hanging around adults. I have always had a caring personality and when I was 18 after I graduated high school I started working as a CNA at an adult day care, caring for geriatrics with dementia. I fell in love with them. They may not be able to remember your name or their own name but they can tell you stories about their childhood that bring warmth to your heart. I am very good at caring for geriatrics, making them feel comfortable in embarrassing situations for them (bathing, changing soiled linen) because they still deserve dignity and respect which I make sure they know they have the upmost respect. Some geriatric patients have a hard time with caregiving because they have literally give up every ounce of independence they used to have which is hard to cope with. My personality is very smiley and happy around geriatrics which makes them feel better. I also have a very loud voice which is an advantage with geriatrics since most are hard of hearing, they can hear me because I tend to speak loudly. I am an RN however I love being a caregiver too. I am very good at caring for people, making them feel comfortable, I am very easy to talk to and educating on medical information also.

I have been in the caregiving field for over five years. I too have taken on the responsibility of taking care of loved ones until they passed away. I believe you have to have a special gift to be a caregiver and I definitely have been blessed to have that gift. If you give me the opportunity to allow me to assist in helping take care of your loved ones you will definitely be pleased.

I have successfully completed a training program and state examination at Morning Star Academy-School of Allied Health in Rockville, MD in 2012. Outside of homecare, my hobbies include taking care of my 3 yo son, practicing special effects makeup, painting and drawing. Previously, I worked in long-term care facilities located in Virginia. I have been working in homecare consistently since 2015. My experience in homecare has been rewarding and less stressful. I love working closely with families and clients to make sure their care and companionship needs are met. I am able to adapt quickly to different working environments. I firmly believe in providing compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for an individual. As a former employee of Snakemans Tattoo Studio I learned the importance of sterilization, blood borne pathogen safety, and customer service. I also learned the value of communication, critical thinking skills, time management, and teamwork while working as a CNA at Golden Living Center and Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury (SVWC). Iam great caregiver because I like to keep elderly motivated, push temperature to do things that they may think is impossible for them to achieve. Being a caregiver was not my intention but at the age of 18 I volunteered at Sunrise assisted living, from there I fell in love with learning more about Dementia that progress with age. I became more paitent, caring, loving, empathetic, honest, trustworthy. Also am certified as an Medication Technician. I go above and beyond to make sure my client is take care of correctly and receive the correct care.

To put my positive strengths and abilities to good use in caring for individuals who are in need of an empathetic and skilled caregiver. I have optimum bedside manners and rapport in dealing with patients and family members, Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations,ability to exercise tact and understanding in stressful situations, ability to interpret and follow multiple tasks and making documentation about the patient care and Progress.

- Some personality traits that make me a great fit to be a caregiver is I am openness , conscientiousness and extraversion . - I wanted to be a caregiver because i always enjoyed taking care of my grandmother and enjoyed making sure she was in good hands. While taking care of my grandmother i thought "everyone should have that person that they trust to have their love with. - The number one that i enjoy most about caregiving is creating a bond and a friendship within the patient. - A personal achievement i accomplished is getting approved for my first house for my son and i , also raising my son.
