I have been a great caregiver for five years. I enjoy caring and talking to the elderly. I have taken care of some of my elderly family members, which I enjoyed. I enjoy running errands, transportation, preparing home-cooked meals, medication reminder and light housekeeping. I always keep my client's information confidential. I have always had a passion for helping seniors even as a very young adult. I cared for my grandmother with love and patience, but always with the respect and dignity that she deserved. I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I got bonded, insured and registered with the state and I have several great references from the loving families of those whom I have cared for over the years. I've had great experiences with those who I have worked for and with, along with learning from wonderful nurses and doctors that I've interacted with during the care of many of my clients. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions.
