I became a caregiver because I like working with the elderly. I learn a lot just by listen to them talking about their lives. My achievement would be owning my own home. I started out taking a class on medical billing. I later went to Concord to get a medical assistant degree. I then took a class on phlebotomy. After all that I decided I wanted to be a nurse.

I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background.
